The project "Measuring Impact: with, for and by youth organisations" aims to address the issue of fragmented and weak evidences of the impact of youth organisation. The project is based on an existing impact measurement methodology developed by the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This previous methodology, already tested in 6 countries, has some limitations that the project intend to address. With this new project, we aim to improve the impact measurement replicability through relevant digital tools and its scientific robustness. But more importantly, we aim to improve its relevance for youth organisations by offering ways to interpret the results and address the identified weakness revealed by the impact study. The project aims especially to better track the impact on young people from disadvantaged areas, thus to to help strengthen the quality of the educational activities of youth organisations for this target group. The consortium is based on two large global youth networks: YMCA and the Scout Movement and 6 of its members who will receive support from the expertise in youth work research of the Maynooth university in Ireland. The main outputs/outcomes are the following: 1)A revised robust and replicable impact measurement methodology and data collection tools freely accessible available to all youth organisations 2)A digital impact measurement toolkit user friendly which allow to both collect and treat the datas 3)A transfer of knowledge between the university and the youth organisations involved in the partnership thanks to 30 trained consultants from Europe and out 4)Six country reports from different youth organisations networks as an outcome of the impact measurement, including a part providing a set of recommendations for improvements 5) The measurement results will be included in an article revised by peers and published in a recognised scientific journal 6) European and National dissemination conferences to disseminate the project results
