EUCONEXUS DHJM is a project for the creation of a European Master's degree in the innovative and emerging discipline of Digital Humanities. This project, led by La Rochelle Université, involves five European universities, all partners of the European University EU-CONEXUS: La Rochelle Université, University of Zadar, Universität Rostock, Universidad Católica de Valencia and Klaipeda University. On the basis of quality research carried out in the field by all the EUCONEXUS partners, the latter, gathered around the project for a few months and thus convinced of the possibility of working effectively together, have decided to set up a master programme in Digital Humanities on a European scale. The principal aim of EUCONEXUS DHJM is to design the main lines of this master's level training programme in Digital Humanities that will be provided on a European scale, such as its international curriculum (list of different courses, pedagogical modules, calendar and students’ mobility), its administrative framework (administrative, financial environment, joint agreements) and its attractiveness academic environment (supportive and stimulating framework for students, teachers and researchers; link with relevant national and international infrastructures in Digital Humanities and professional organizations;workspace as a center in Digital Humanities). The ambition is also to reflect and work on the innovative and stimulating dimension of this Europe-wide training programme, which will be specialised solely in digital humanities (it will be the first at the same time on a European scale and in a European university), taught entirely in English but with a multicultural dimension as articulated on students mobility in several countries in Europe, and will recruit students from both computer science and humanities backgrounds by offering adapted tracks (as the research in Digital Humanities led in the consortium is achieved in both fields with a relevant and strong experience).
