Design of Computational Mechanics and Deep Learning Joint Master Programme (DSGN COM-DL) is project that aims to jointly design and develop an international, multidisciplinary, ready-to-run, based on excellence, high-quality Joint Master Programme (120ECTS) in Computational Mechanics and Deep Learning by the UNSA-MEF (B&H), UCD (Ireland), UNIZAG-FSB (Croatia) and UNZE-PTF (B&H). Designed Master Programme is based on the principles of the EMJM and is fully in accordance with Standards for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes in the EHEA. This project, with UNSA-MEF as the coordinator, would strengthen the capacities of partner institutions and their international cooperation and would contribute to the exchange of knowledge and best practices. With the ever-increasing growth of the computational mechanics (CM) possibilities and the required computer capacities, knowledge and skills in the data science and machine learning areas that optimize computing needs and maximize the CM potentials are becoming increasingly sought after by future employers, and in scientific research it has become unavoidable. Unfortunately, in most countries, those two areas are studied at different faculties, therefore students do not have the opportunity to acquire knowledge from both areas during their studies. During the 15 months of project implementation, partners will identify the need to improve the knowledge and competencies of the teaching staff for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of learning by working in order to acquire the necessary competencies and allow the their further development after the project ends. The DSGN COM-DL project foresees the development of a fully integrated, state-of-the-art Joint Master Programme proposal with mandatory physical mobility, thus contributing to the internationalization of students and staff of the HEIs involved, laying the foundation for the long-term continuation and strengthening of cooperation between them.
