ADVENTURE project corresponds to the actual needs of the partner organisations and target groups from Latin American countries and was designed with their active involvement. The project covers four organisations from Argentina, El Salvador and Ecuador and European partner organisations from Belgium, France, Italy and Poland. ADVENTURE aims at building the capacity of the beneficiary organisations, and target group representatives and reinforces the link between labour market demand and skills generated by VET institution in the area of electrical engineering to support the job mismatch problem resolution. The project supports the development of the necessary skills of VETs teachers and facilitates the transfer of good European practice. The project activities will firstly improve the capacity of VET providers, then support the building of better curricula and course designs including by piloting four VET courses in electrical engineering and continue by generating better industry professionals to support employability. Therefore the project will build VET capacities (by supporting better and updated courses), facilitate work-based learning (via on-job training), ensure VET teachers’ professional development and ensure a higher match of the demand and supply of skills in the electrical engineering sector. The adventure project includes 5 WPs and, inter alia, features online and face-to-face meetings, training, study visit of LATAM countries representatives to Italy, a solid research dimension, job-shadowing and a comprehensive dissemination and awareness-raising campaign to disseminate outcomes and outputs. The project targets the following groups: VET institutions, Teachers, curriculum designers in the VET centres, employers and Employers’ organisations, university students, VET students, young professionals, businesses operating in the electrical energy sector, and decision-makers, etc.
