Project summary

The aim of this proposal is to enhance the capacity of higher education institute in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) using Digital Twining, with a consortium of educational institutions in Europe and Asia focusing on Graduate Engineering Education. The project involves a participatory learning approach, with practical demonstrations and hands-on experience with physical equipment and digital twins. The assessment of all domains is distributed through portfolios, and knowledge acquisition is indexed to give individual and cohort performance. The proposed project will produce trainers who will ultimately train the manpower for higher education to STEAM-based training using low-cost Digital Twins (DTs) based on AR/VR. The project will benefit 2000 (direct and indirect) students and faculty members in higher education institutions in Europe and Asia. The project aims to produce trainers who will ultimately train primary and secondary school teachers to provide STEAM-based education using Digital Twins (DTs) based on AR/VR. The project will enhance the capacity of higher education institutions to provide STEAM-based education using Digital Twins (DTs) based on AR/VR. The project aims to produce trainers who will ultimately train, resulting in the widespread adoption of STEAM-based education in the long run. The project will produce several outputs, including curriculum development, teaching methodology, assessment procedures, and methods for continuous quality improvement (CQI). Additionally, the project will produce trainers who will train the manpower for higher education, thus resulting in the adoption of STEAM-based education using Digital Twins (DTs) based on AR/VR. The project management plans and quality parameters will also be defined.
