EUR(H)OPE is a 24-month project which aims to build the capacities of young people aged 18-25 living in the Mediterranean-Adriatic border communities by engaging them in training and advocacy activities regarding European identity by means of journalistic techniques and NFE methodologies. Youth workers from participant organizations will be provided with the soft and professional skills to pass on to local people at risk of social exclusion and they will jointly develop journalistic outputs regarding a European sense of belonging and migration, and Infographic Reports for policy-makers’ debates. The project objectives, in line with the EU priorities in the field of Youth, are: - Foster young people’s active participation in the debate about European identity and migration issues at the same time providing them with journalistic professional competences, which will be useful to improve their employability inside and outside Europe. - Empower youth workers with NFE methodologies, as well as journalistic technical skills to be used in both current and future projects and activities. - Foster cooperation across different regions of the world through a transnational non-formal learning mobility between Programme and Partner Countries. - Contribute to the implementation of European Youth Goals 1, 9 and 11: Connecting EU with Youth, Space and Participation for All and Youth Organisations & European Programmes (EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027)
