Agricultural innovation involves the introduction of new practices, technologies, and knowledge, which can positively impact the economy, society, and the environment. However, supporting innovation within the Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation System framework remains challenging due to the need for relevant services for various actors, such as advisors, agricultural trainers, and teachers. Agricultural TVET education and continuous professional development (CPD) play a critical role in enabling future farmers to adapt to technological and policy changes. The challenge lies in providing training pathways, curriculum content, pedagogical approaches, and CPD opportunities for all involved. As the agri-food sector becomes more knowledge-intensive, education and skills development become vital for its success. Research has highlighted the need for increased CPD availability for agricultural educators, particularly regarding pedagogical skills and strategies. Additionally, adopting universal design for learning is necessary to ensure equal opportunities for all students, including those with disabilities. The project focuses on addressing challenges in innovation management education for agricultural TVET Providers, investing in new technologies for TVET systems, and strengthening Agricultural Knowledge and Information System (AKIS) policies in EU Member States and regions. The specific objectives of the project include innovating learning processes, products, and services, improving Agricultural TVET Education and integrating innovation into institutional strategies, enhancing the ability of Agricultural TVET Education to provide transversal and technical skills for innovation, and strengthening relationships between Agricultural TVET Education and other AKIS actors at the European level.
