The main objective of the Master of Technology in Rehabilitation project is to create a motivated and well-organized network to design a new and innovative integrated curriculum at master level enhancing the use of technology in holistic rehabilitation and care. In EMJM catalogue there is no Master level program comprising rehabilitation and technology, and the same challenges exist globally. Internationalisation and multicultural competence will be emphasised throughout the curriculum, and mobility program will be integrated as an important part of it. Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK), FI; Technische Hochschule Rosenheim, DE; Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, ES; and School of Nursing, National Taiwan University College of Medicine, TW, will bring the expertise and experience, learning environments, and pedagogical and cultural approach. Excluding the primary project management and administration, all the project tasks are completed in collaboration with all participating HEIs. The working schedule, mechanisms and common goals are designed and set at the beginning of the project. After the kick-off meeting online meetings will be organised monthly to follow-up the progress and to discuss any challenges that may arise. The regular online meetings will ensure fluent, continuing communication and cooperation between the HEIs. As the project progresses, the plan for a joint Master's Degree Programme of Technology in Rehabilitation will grow from initiative to a full curriculum draft. The progress of the project will be monitored and during the 2nd F2F meeting the outcomes will be evaluated and further collaboration toward an EMJM application planned. The final curriculum draft will be presented in the participating HEIs’ websites and other suitable channels. The collaboration will continue after the EMDM, prior to the start of the planned EMJM to ensure continuous communication, preparation work and promotion of the new Master's degree programme.
