Livestock farming faces many challenges, including ecological, health, economic, social, and societal issues. To address these, agricultural systems need to evolve. Analysing systems on the basis of their global quality is crucial for developing systems that prioritise environmental, economic, social, and societal factors in a given area. The existing Global Quality in European Livestock Production (GLOQUAL) master's degree is designed to achieve this objective and is a unique program in Europe. This funding application aims to consolidate and extend the existing partnership between VetAgro Sup, University Clermont Auvergne), and its national and international partners. The master is co-accredited by VetAgro Sup and University Clermont Auvergne, and involves many national partners in France, including Clermont Auvergne University, Lorraine University, Bordeaux Sciences Agro, and INRAe, as well as international partners such as the BOKU University (Austria) and University of Padua (Italy). Within this framework, the aim of the present project is the creation of an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme (120 ECTS credits) with mandatory transnational mobility, and a joint (or multiple) diploma. The programme will provide high quality education in a multicultural environment. The participation of different partners will make it possible to offer a distinctive and unique master in Europe, based on the complementary nature of the collaborating universities. The creation of a joint Master's degree will increase the international visibility and attractiveness of this programme. In particular, this training will contribute to the necessary transition of agricultural systems to face the listed crises by proposing solutions at an appropriate scale for the different European study areas.
