Project summary

The "Skills and Employment Enhancement in Green Logistics" (SEE-GL) project aims to revitalize vocational education and training (VET) in transport logistics across Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Montenegro by embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This initiative responds to critical challenges like environmental impact, social inclusion, and governance within the logistics sector, pivotal for the region's economic development and alignment with European standards. By developing a unified VET curriculum that incorporates ESG principles, SEE-GL targets to equip professionals with the necessary skills for sustainable logistics operations. The project emphasizes the importance of cooperation between private and public stakeholders, leveraging digital education tools to ensure wide access and participation. This innovative approach aims to modernize the logistics sector, making it more inclusive and adaptable to market demands. SEE-GL's objectives focus on enhancing the capacity of VET providers, aligning VET programs with labor market needs, and integrating local, regional, and national development strategies. A significant outcome will be the creation of a new generation of ESG Specialists in Transport Logistics, ready to tackle future industry challenges with sustainable solutions. The project aligns with Erasmus+ Programme goals, promoting inclusion, digital transformation, and international cooperation. SEE-GL's commitment to ESG principles, combined with its strategic approach to vocational training, positions it as a key player in driving sustainable development within the Western Balkans' logistics sector. Through fostering skills development and promoting sustainable practices, SEE-GL aims to contribute significantly to the economic growth and environmental sustainability of the region.
