SUCCESS project is aimed at modernization of African VET institutions through the strengthening their partnerships with enterprise in the areas of education and knowledge transfer based on the market needs with aim to improve student employ ability. Furthermore the project aims to enhance international cooperation and networking at the Regional/international level, and foster public-private dialogue between VET institutions and the private enterprises sector. Detailed objectives: 1. Incising employability of youth in 5 African countries (Rwanda, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Cameroon) through development of VET-Enterprises cooperation framework in line with the digital driven and green transformation. 2. Developing skills and competencies of youth tailored to the needs of the labour market through new VET modules in area of Renewable Energy and green skills in professions needed in the region, developed on the basis on digitally and green requirements of the Industry in Africa and incorporated into existing educational offer 3. Developing international and regional cooperation through VET schools-enterprise network and transfer of best practiced models within the VET institutions and enterprises in Africa and within the EU and African organizations 4. Improving accessibility and attractiveness of VET offer for girls through gender inclusive methodologies of VET programmes and practices All this will be done through the following activities Exploring the VET-enterprise cooperation models in EU and Africa Creation of the cooperation framework of VET – enterprise in African countries taking part in the project Implementation of the cooperation framework of VET – enterprise in African countries taking part in the project Development of the new modules aimed at development of skills needed by local labour market in area of renewable energy and green skills Creation of careers office in each VET partner from Africa
