The D-PEERS- Digital Pathways for Education, Empowerment, and Resilient Skills project is dedicated to transforming digital education by fostering impact-driven innovation in collaboration with participating higher education institutions (HEIs), with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa. The initiative aims to bridge the digital divide by addressing offline learning challenges for students from underprivileged and rural backgrounds, ensuring access to essential learning tools. It aims to enhance teaching methodologies through faculty training, promoting a hybrid learning environment that seamlessly integrates blended education with digital tools. Key outcomes include the development of a scalable digital learning platform, modular digital skills curricula, and sustainable cooperation networks between European and Sub-Saharan HEIs. D-PEERS aspires to establish a resilient, inclusive, and future-proof digital education ecosystem, ensuring a long-lasting impact beyond the project’s duration.
