SinoQuest Master Program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to bridge critical gaps in Sino-European relations, equipping graduates with the skills to address the cultural, economic, and diplomatic challenges shaping our interconnected world. At a time of rising geopolitical tensions, political instability, the erosion of multilateralism, the diminished academic collaboration, and declining interest in China-related studies, SinoQuest introduces an innovative, interdisciplinary curriculum that integrates cutting-edge research methods, practical training, and cross-border mobility. Aligned with the EMDM, SinoQuest promotes global collaboration by fostering mobility between Europe and China, enhancing employability, and advancing knowledge production. Its curriculum, jointly developed by Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu (LBUS), Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (JGU), and Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), features modules on topics such as China’s Role in Global Markets, Modern Chinese Society, and Intercultural Communication in Sino-European Relations. Students benefit from digital research tools like computational social sciences (CSS), practical internships with cultural and economic hubs, and immersive mobility experiences in Romania, Italy, and China. The program's objectives include developing a fully integrated curriculum, establishing robust governance mechanisms, and fostering long-term sustainability through accreditation and stakeholder engagement. By adhering to the Standards for Quality Assurance of Joint Programmes in the EHEA, SinoQuest ensures excellence, scalability, and impact. Its focus on labor market alignment and ethical collaboration prepares students for leadership roles in diplomacy, international business, and cultural exchange. SinoQuest exemplifies Europe’s commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and global engagement, serving as a model for interdisciplinary education and a catalyst for stronger Sino-European relations.
