Young people with disabilities (YWDs) face significant barriers to employment and economic independence. Many are excluded from traditional job markets due to misconceptions about productivity, limited accessibility, and a lack of inclusive policies. In non-EU countries, structured support for the employment and entrepreneurship of YWDs is even more scarce The SocEntYwD project directly tackles these challenges by equipping youth workers and organizations with the skills and tools to support disability-inclusive social entrepreneurship. Through targeted training, digital learning resources, and advocacy efforts, the project aims to: -Train youth workers to effectively mentor and support young social entrepreneurs with disabilities. -Develop inclusive learning materials, including a curriculum, an online course, and a toolkit tailored to the needs of YWDs. -Provide digital tools to enhance financial literacy, business development, and digital accessibility. -Launch six online campaigns to raise awareness and engage stakeholders in promoting disability- inclusive entrepreneurship. -Organize advocacy workshops and policy dialogues to influence national policies in at least three countries. With a strong focus on sustainability, all project materials will be made available online and promoted beyond the consortium’s networks. By combining education, advocacy, and digital tools, the project empowers young people with disabilities to thrive as social entrepreneurs, shaping a more inclusive and innovative future.
