Project summary

The need in youth work field for innovative, inclusive, and engaging non-formal education methods to support their emotional well-being is critical. Live Action Role Playing (LARP) has proven to be an effective tool for fostering emotional resilience, social skills, and self-expression among youth. Through immersive storytelling and character-driven experiences, LARP allows participants to explore different emotions, practice problem-solving, and develop empathy in a safe and creative environment. Despite its potential, many youth organizations lack the knowledge, skills, and resources to integrate LARP into their educational activities. This project aims to build the capacity of youth organizations in the South Mediterranean region to use LARP as a methodology for fostering emotional well-being among young people with fewer opportunities. By training youth workers, creating a resource platform, and implementing LARP-based activities across multiple countries, the project will contribute to empowering youth through experiential learning and enhancing their emotional resilience and personal development. The project aims to build the capacity of youth organizations to use LARP methodology to foster emotional well-being among youth with fewer opportunities. Specific objectives: 1. To create a network 21 youth workers with competencies to design and use Live Action Role Playing method in order to foster emotional wellbeing among young people with fewer opportunities. 2. To foster emotional wellbeing for at least 2100 young people from 7 countries. 3. To create an learning and resource platform for using LARP activities to enhance emotional well-being of young people with fewer opportunities
