HumaNova drives the next frontier of human–humanoid collaboration through excellence in VET and regional innovation. As humanoid technologies begin to influence work across all sectors, the project supports an EU where people and intelligent machines evolve together, not in competition but in co-creation, shaping a future that is smarter, fairer, and deeply human. Rather than passively reacting to change, HumaNova steps forward to actively shape this emerging landscape, equipping VET systems with the capacity to respond to the coming up rise of humanoids. The project establishes a pan-European network of 6 Centres of Vocational Excellence in France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Greece, and Belgium to accelerate readiness for humanoid integration. Through coordinated regional innovation groups and competence centres, it brings together high-performing VET providers and forward-thinking sectoral representatives to build agile, inclusive, and future-proof ecosystems. The project will build a European Humanoid Skills Alliance to anticipate skills needs, co-create dual-use curricula, and pilot innovative training programmes embedded in real-world humanoid use cases. It will develop Application-Driven Labs, Humanoid Innovation Hubs, and advanced training for VET professionals and learners, ensuring responsiveness to labour market shifts and the emergence of human-robot collaboration. The project also promotes social inclusion and accessibility, actively engaging underrepresented groups and regional actors. Fully aligned with the Erasmus+ CoVE priorities, HumaNova contributes to the European Skills Agenda, the Pact for Skills, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the EU Green Deal. It introduces scalable, sustainable, and transferable models that enhance regional innovation, foster transnational cooperation, and promote responsible adoption of humanoids in VET. Through excellence, HumaNova prepares Europe’s workforce for the challenges and opportunities of the humanoid era.
