Project "The method of tutoring as innovative way of working with young people at risk of social exclusion" in its idea presents a valuable initiative of innovative character and corresponds in its assumptions to needs of early social intervention. The final product at the stage of dissemination and mainstreaming policy is novel and comprehensive educational method which is based upon tutoring. The essence of the project is to develop, disseminate and implement the use of the educational work in the field of social intervention and prevention of social exclusion of young people. The entire program is aimed at the development of dignity, social relations, including also those which are necessary in the search for employment. The project enhances cooperation between European countries, favoring the exchange of knowledge, know-how and educational practices beyond borders, strengthen by a network structure that will last on time for future new projects and exchanges on lifelong learning. Besides, partners will significantly increase their European awareness and forge new relationships across the continent. New experience of cooperation and possibility to compare and improve the working with young people at risk of social exclusion and usage of methodology will attain in the result of the project the partnership organizations; established information net will improve the development of new cooperation. Organisations’ staff will improve own professional ability and knowledge, as well develop useful private contacts. Tutors and young people will expand practically available knowledge of own and other European countries’ tutoring , will expand knowledge about culture of other nations, will improve communicative and language skills, which is expected to positively affect own professional competence.
The final product of „The Method of tutoring as innovative way of working with young people at risk of social exclusion” project is a novel and comprehensive way of working with young people basing on individual approach to their situation. Including an individual centered approach. This is very important for proper personal development process and helps the people make a better start in their professional, social and emotional life. The Method is strongly based on tutoring. The final product and all the results were conscientiously established with our Partners from Turkey and Spain. This cooperation gave the Project European dimension. The Method of tutoring is a crucial part of social exclusion prevention activity because it enables proper individual life guidance and assistance of young people. It allows to take concrete preventive and corrective measures. The distinguishing feature of the novel Method is special attention given to development of human dignity, self-esteem and ability to make relevant relationships. This is a multi-stage and multi-dimentional process, because it is focused on developing individual and social abilities of young people. The Method is a guarantee of building the Future based on humanitarian values. Because of the fact that new educational problems and dangers appeared, there is a great need of using new educational practices. We have no doubt that a lot of young people suffer from pathological family roots, wrong value system and improper patterns. Their individual limitation and bad environmental condition are the cause of many problems with social relations. Education based on real values, giving best patterns and teaching how to make really good choices. IMPLEMENTED MEASURES: • Development and implementation of a training program for tutors • Preparing a guide book for tutors • Developing a social exclusion prevention program – a training program for young people • Building an Internet platform • Organization of an International dissemination Conference in Poland • Organization of dissemination Seminar in Turkey • Organization of dissemination Seminar in Spain • Short-term collaborative training of the staff • Short-term training of the staff Implementation of the project was based on current outside researches and on own inside study, such as surveys: in Poland, in Turkey and in Spain. On the grounds of subreports, an aggregate report was made and its results were then used during the implementation stage of the project. Dissemination activity in Poland and in our partner countries (Turkey and Spain) allowed the results to be met by bigger group of people.
