Project summary

The main objective of project HOW DID THEY DO IT? is to introduce youth from disadvantaged families to different professional pathways in Estonia and Latvia. We would like to introduce to them ways of how other people have chosen their occupations and how they succeeded in their professional life. In the included work-shops participants will work on their self-esteem, problem-solving and communication skills as well as learning how to create a good CV and prepare for job interview. We will visit various work places in different parts of the country and talk to professionals there: engineers, craftsmen, journalists, musicians, Eco-farmers and government officials. We will also talk to carier - advisors in order for young people to know of such possibilities and what kind of assistance they could get. Along the way we would visit places of cultural heritage to introduce youth to the culture of their country.
