Project summary

The Purpose of the project is to develop supportive environment and two experiential learning programs (one local, one international), that will activate youth to realize their potential, to recognize and take advantage of the opportunities of their local communities and successfully enter labor market. The project is a transfer of good practice from Romanian partner organization to Slovenia and a joint program development, which will be used in intercultural environment. Partner organizations will develop two experiential programs and empower themselves for achieving higher standards and more efficient work with youth through exchange of experiences. Project goals are:• To create program »From idea to product« (Experiential learning program for socially excluded and long term unemployed youth. Participation in the program will equip them with new knowledge, skills and experiences, which they lack and need to successfully, integrate in the business world).• Program and content of international training course »Set up your social enterprise«, which will enable youth in multicultural environment to gain entrepreneurial skills and be more active in the environment they live in. • »Pospeševalnik« - platform, which will enable youth, who are already entrepreneurs or are starting their independent entrepreneurial path, to promote their products through setting up sales corner, window displays, online and promotion in local and regional media.• Social enterprise created by young people taking active part in the project. Target group (40 young people from seven municipalities will be involved) are:-young people, who are socially excluded and unemployed for several years-young entrepreneurs or young people, who are just starting their entrepreneurial path-young people, who are interested in social entrepreneurship- young people who already have experiences from social entrepreneurship and want to experience role of mentorMethodology of informal education will be used to implement project activities and to reach desired project results. The methodology will base on interaction and on active participation of all involved in the project (work in small groups, open discussions, debates, different creative techniques for searching ideas, mutual presentations, researching, simulations …), learning through experiences and peer to peer active exchange of knowledge and information sharing (cooperative learning). Most of the youth activities will base on experiential learning, self-initiative and entrepreneurial spirit of youth.
