The topic integration and migration (emigration, escape) must be in the center of focus in our Erasmus+ project. There are three main points (see below priorities and achievements):1. Development of common school referring concept and program for improving dealing with migrants and refugees and increasing of migrants and refugees school success. 2. The improving integration of migrants into school community through discrimination reduction and tolerance building 3. Improving collaboration between school and extern partners. Partner schools are very important partners who enable the access to the topic. The main objects will result of this collaboration following:1. Exchange of experiences between the project schools for the purpose of achievement possibly broad base of thematic and content work. Hereby is stated that to this project work belong not only regional questions and aspects but here will be enabled a broad approach.2. Development of a common concept about the dealing with migration which is involved into school programs and project activities as well. The concept will be created in written form and issued in a pocketbook. Specifically it means as:• Strengthening collaboration between the stuff• Improvement of stuff foreign language competences• Changing in knowledge and attitude within teachers and pupils • Development of lesson concepts and methods , concepts with individual and personal promotion, concepts of individual learning, concepts adapted to gain language competence for migrants (development and implementation of new processes; individual and cooperative learning; bilingual lesson, etc.) • Improvement of collaboration with the migrant parents • Renewal and development of school programs (in the field “Dealing with heterogenicty”). • Improvement of knowledge and competences of school migrants through those developing concepts • Improvement of emigrants‘ educational success thanks to those concepts and changed school program.3. Better integration of migrants into school community through • Improved knowledge and reduction of prejudices among teachers and pupils • Building intercultural competence among teachers and pupils • Improvement of language comptences among pupils (migrants and not migrants)• Enabling foreign experiences • Development of creativity • Involving parential side • Promotion of tolerance • Fighting against separation and discrimination of migrants in the educational field .4. Improvement of collaboration between school and responsible regional institutions to improve the concept development through:Opening of our schools (migrant organisations, extern experts, subject institutions)• Collaboration with local administrative institutions (integration agencies, school departments, school inspections, etc.), reinforcement of thematic collaboration between the organisations and support of local and regional development between partner schools. This perspective provides an european surplus.
The topic of integration and migration (emigration, flight) was as planned in the focus of our Erasmus + project. There were, as planned, three priorities: 1. Developing a common school-based approach and program to better manage migrants and refugees and improve school outcomes for those groups. 2. Improve the integration of migrants into the school community by reducing discrimination and building tolerance. 3. Improving cooperation between schools and external partners. The resulting tasks could be addressed as follows: There was a very productive exchange of experience between the project schools, so that they could work on a broad basis thematically and in terms of content. In this way, it was possible to ensure, as also stated in the application, that not only regional, ie limited, issues were of relevance. In the process, all schools involved are developing a concept for dealing with migration, which should be included in the respective school programs. Here is a constant revision and update makes sense. Results are available in the manuals produced by each participating country. It should be noted that there has been a strengthening of cooperation among teachers in all nations of the project; also a change in knowledge and attitude within the teachers' colleges and the student body. The development of teaching concepts and methods, in particular for the language acquisition of refugees and migrants (individualized and cooperative learning), has also been initiated. as a result, there should also be an improvement in cooperation with the parents of the refugees / migrants. Further development of the school programs in the field of "dealing with heterogeneity" is under way. Thus it can be assumed that - within a reasonable time - an improvement in the educational success of the targeted groups of people can take place. This would also result in improved integration of refugees / migrants into the school community. In addition to these narrower tasks, more general goals could be achieved among all those involved, to name only a few: prejudices could be reduced and knowledge expanded on all sides; Experiences abroad could be made possible; and much more. We should also mention the further expansion of cooperation between the schools and the relevant regional authorities. (Migrant organizations, offices, ...). Here, European-level added value has been achieved through thematic cooperation between local, regional and international organizations.
