The application developed from the eTwinning project "Peace is art" for the "63.european competition” in 2016. All partner schools have committed themselves in their school programs to the promotion of disadvantaged students. This is due to their geographical and political situation. The number of pupils with special educational needs is large, many children come from families who live by social assistance or unemployment benefits. These families are less interested in political decisions. Because of demographic shifts and urban changes in the cities, schools increasingly come into the focus of urban development. Teaching children and parents to practise democratic processes is a basic issue for the future. The partner schools of our eTwinning project turn to and focus this process more and more. The schools also see the integration of refugees into our schools and society as their task. The partner schools want to develop individual and collective competence as a sign of European solidarity in their facilities. This promotes respect of different cultures, lifestyles and worldviews, it emphasises the conditions of their own positions and enables to find sustainable solutions to common problems. Through new, innovative teaching methods that summon in a student-oriented working and problem-based learning, we motivate students to improve their reading and writing skills. This project is conducted in the German language. It gives students and teachers from Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain the opportunity to expand their knowledge of foreign languages. It encourages the children and young people to apply the German language not only in everyday situations, but also in new language fields. For the schools from Germany and Austria other learning opportunities aries. By performing in German more students get involved in the project more comitted. Many students with an immigrant background in Germany and Austria have limited knowledge of the german language, which is their second language. They are motivated by the written and interactive exchange of their results to expand their language skills. When there will be a students exchange, communication is easier for them. Participating in discussions and debates can be more effectively. All schools have a large network of non-school partners that link into the socieyt an play a major role in school life, affecting the education program significantly. Some projects show similaritys. An exchange of the experience of different earopean countrys is very interesting for teachers. We agreed on 4 modules. Each topic will be dicussed and worked on for at least half a year. The modules are:a. living together / fundamental rights and rulesb. migrationc. participation / equal access / democracyd. inclusion (in the district, in the parish)

Inclusion (in the district, in the parish) Through a clear project plan and a timely presentation of the tasks and the delegation of tasks to the individual countries, as well as an actively maintained website, all goals could be achieved. With the good experience in KA2 two schools developed another KA2 project for 2019/20. The German school will start again with KA1 and will continue the topic of the European community of values with new partners. In these two years many readings, discussions, films, games and detailed newsletters were created. All results have had a positive effect on the country-specific curriculum, expanded it and led to a further development of the school location. www.wertewagen.eu.
