Project summary

He sum of these three participants for the first time in a common project will lend continuity to the degree of impact and sustainability of the Erasmus+ projects the participants were awarded with in previous call for grants thanks to the unity of efforts that foster cooperation and lead to a high quality results and products. In the project, "Multilinguism, Vocational Guidance and Job Mobility among European Countries the competences acquired by the participants will be validated. New social media technologies will be used in terms of communication and learning among the participants. This will allow to a further step in the spread of the previous projects and, together with the results of the activities we will be working on in common, will improve the prestige of the educational centres and of the Erasmus+ program. Each country has a social, historical, technological, linguistic and labour context of a great interest for the rest of the countries. The diversity of the countries in the association, and the different educational and range stages of each of the centres will contribute to a large work relationship that will be innovative and tangible due to the wide knowledge of the centres in terms of international projects.Furthermore, the study plans of these educational centres foster in their didactic programme the linguistic development in both, the English and the German language. This was the main reason why we decided to develop a collaborative project. The good educational practices of each centre will also be transferred to other centres and the digital competence will be strengthened through virtual interconnection, joining the history or physical education subjects curricula, the international team building activities, the CLIL sessions, etc. With respect to vocational orientation, access or job mobility, synergies among the chambers of commerce of Stuttgart, Lloret de Mar, and Krakow, the three participants centres and other administrations will be held. This way, it will be easy for us to find mentor applications, job offers, etc. that will encourage young entrepreneurs since new communication channels with private investors interested in our projects related to tourist industry may emerge. This contact network will promote vocational studies and foster the social inclusion of the other participants. The students in Stuttgart will develop their professional projects in the business school after having attended meetings with the network of traders, the hotel industrials, the chamber of commerce, the local administrations, etc. Moreover, their project may be assessed according to the competence acquisition of the students in the exchange, the acknowledgement of their abilities, their skill in the search of a job or in entering the labour market, etc. The students in the business school will have to be able to develop tangible products that let them enter the labour market with action plans of job and mobility. The opportunities that each centre offers, and that may have an impact in a very positive way, are a lot and of different kinds. Ensure visibility and know the practices, events or educational actions may trigger into new and multiple proposals, such as the marketing of the Llajkonikcup or the promotion of tourism (in a more tangible way) or the benefits of sport and multicultural dialogue among participants (in a more intangible way). The distribution of the tasks and responsibilities among the participants will be certified since each centre hosts a main event and is in charge of its management. Besides, the results or products that we will obtain, will be shared among the participant centres. For example, each centre will be able to give continuity to the development of the specific web pages http://englishisallaroundielloretdemar.blogspot.com.es/, https://lorbeerblau.wordpress.com/, http://www.lajkonikcup.pl/, etc, and strengthen and spread the eTwinning project to other subjects. In this regard, the educational centre in Lloret the Mar and the one in Krakow have already carried out meetings among students in 2016, having signed a co-operation agreement. In 2016, 45 students from Krakow were in Lloret doing activities together learning in relation to the surroundings. In April we have planed a trip to Krakow with 26 secondary students from Lloret de Mar.The professional participants of each of the centres will give continuity to the actions of professional development, giving rise to concerns and positive inertias in the educational centres since the participation of the professionals in each teaching staff in the exchange will be done in an open and voluntary way.

Final report summary

The Polish school ZSOSnº1 is a sportive state school for children aged 10 to 16. The Spanish centre Institut Escola Lloret de Mar is a state school for children aged 3 to 16. The German school Kaufmannische Schule Stuttgart Nord is a state school that gets finantial contribution from private firms (business school) due to a training-employing relationship. It is for students above 16 years old and it gives access to post-compulsory education. In the 3 mobilities that have been done, the accomplishment of the activity schedule (EPR15, 16 and 17) as well as the project management have been guaranteed. Linguistic synergies have been generated in all the three language of the exchange: Spanish, German, and, especially, English. The Polish centre Zespol Szkol Ogolnoksztalcacych Sportowych nr 1 was the headquarters of the activities during April 2017, focusing on the sports sector as well as historical facts. The German centre Kaufmännische Schule Stuttgart-Nord was the host during November 2017, paying special attention to te productive and industrial sector and the Institut Escola Lloret de Mar (coordinator) was in charge during March 2018 with tourism as the target topic. We have worked on the different educational systems of the three countries and thanks to this job shadowing, different methodological measures have been adopted in each country. With respect to language (English being the working language), German and Spanish (both of them being optional subjects in the Spanish and German schools), there has been a natural immersion. In each of the school, different activities have been put into practice related to organisations or firms which have provided plenty of information referring the ways of accessing employment. Each school has put special emphasis in his own sector: Stuttgart working on the industrial sector, Lloret de Mar in tourism and Krakow in sport. We have visited the firefighters and the way they work in each of the cities what have allowed us to make comparisons and it has also provided the possibility of an exchange between firefighters from Sttutgart and Krakow. The results and impact achieved are multiple and have revaluated us as schools, for example, the increasement in the reputation and satisfaction of the students and families (EPR34) what has involved and increasement in the enrolment, especially in the Spanish school It has also been noticed an important improvement in the results in the English subject, not only in internal but also in external examinations. Linking the results and the participation in the mobilities is a fact. A list of requirements promoting excellence were proposed in order to get a place in the mobility so that the selection was equitable and fair. The immersion has promoted a best autonomy in the foreign language, especially English. The relationship between the private firm and the educative sector has improved. The different visits and interviews to the firms (especially the ones in Stuttgart and Lloret), to public administration employees or professionals have generated some explanatory videos by the students. The website is a free and public access resource that will be used in the future by the participant partners academically for subjects such as Labour and Orientation Formation or for the language subjects. The relationship with local administration has improved since the Erasmus+ project favourably. In Lloret, internalising the centre has promoted high quality tourism and this has been welcomed. The project has spread by means of external channels, the city hall and local media (written press, radio, social networks...) Different material of expository nature (t-shirts, caps, and brochures, etc.) have been generated what has allowed dissemination. Some of the visits to firms or the administration have promoted relationship that may continue over time. The contact with tourism offices have given rise to a training course ot the English language during the summer (EPR29), guided tours by tourism university students, etc. All these materials will be used during the visits (EPR6). Close schools have asked for information in order to apply for Eramus projects. The school Coll i Rodés in Lloret de Mar has established a company-school program with the German partner for an Erasmus+ project since they both share the dual system. A common eTwinning project has been carried out and we have achieved the quality stamp (https://live.etwinning.net/projects/project/147184).
