EuroMed project is a joint initiative by two dynamics. A European, the first one, which has gathered German, French and Polish associations during the citizenships awareness' encounters and several shifts built around intercultural training engineering. The second, between the two sides of the Mediterranean, which allowed associations from Rennes to attend an international training, focused on Human Rights Project Strategy, Social Commitment in the Youth-field, and Territorial Diagnostics led by three different NGOs, two from Tunisia and one from Morocco. In this frame the LTDH (Tunisian Human Rights league), the RESO (Relay for Rising an organized Social Youth), the REMESS( Moroccan Network for the Social and Solidarity Economy), the dFi (French-German Institution – Erlangen), Fundacja Poznan-Ille et Vilaine (Fondation Poznan Ille et Villaine) and the MIR (International House of Rennes) have strengthened partnerships to build R.I.De. Med project whose aim is to build reliable training packages in the field of freedom of conscience and comprehension of international actualities and Power and Democracy. R.I.De Med project is the result of our democratic realities and its needs: In European countries where democracy seems to be moving backwards, Tunisia tries to slowly building its own while Morocco is still looking a better way.The first year should result in three different formation units focused on the freedom of conscience and tolerance. The first of them would be conceived for professionals trainers. The other two would be addressed to Social Educators working with kids and young people. The second year will lead to the creation of two units, designed for adults and young people who did not attend University. This would allow them to better apprehend the international actualities while developping a critical point of view of the medias they use and to discover new sources of information. The third and last year would encourage individual commitment in public organisations and citizenship involvement in public places and state policies. It would be achieved by a training regarding social empowerment for the youth and the capitalisation of two methodological approaches. One aiming to install the project “twinning of workers and migrants mentoring” in a territory. The other to lead a lobbying action, in this case on social and economical rights frame (SER).Free training units online, twinning of school classes, International People Popular University, seminaries on the SER, the “we all are the municipality” project, Rights-clubs... are bursting initiatives, which will mainly lead to “the pessimism of the mind and the optimism of the heart”, for to take part of an active humanitarian solidarity in resistance of the totalitarianism that menaces Europe as Maghreb.http://mir-rennes.fr/ ; http://www.dfi-erlangen.de/fr ; http://dombretanii.org.pl/ ; www.ltdh.tn/ ; www.remess.ma/ ; http://www.reso.tn/sitereso/
RID EuroMed brought together the LTDH (Tunisian League of Human Rights www.ltdh.tn/), RESO (Relais pour l’émergence d’une jeunesse sociale organisée) http://www.reso.tn/sitereso/), the REMESS (Réseau Marocain de l’Economie Sociale et Solidaire www.remess.ma/) then the RADOSE (Réseau des Associations des Oasis du Sud Est), the dFi (Deutsch Französisches Institut Erlangen http://www.dfi-erlangen.de/ fr), Dom Bretaanii (maison de la Bretagne - Fundacja Poznan-Ille http://dombretanii.org.pl/) and the MIR (Maison Internationale de Rennes http://mir-rennes.fr/) around major contemporary Euromediterranean democratic issues. These organizations have created seven training modules in the areas of Freedom of Conscience, Understanding of International News and Democracy and Power. These modules are presented in the form of turnkey teaching sheets, accompanied by documentary resources. Three modules focus on Freedom of Conscience and are designed for trainers of trainers and youth workers. Two modules are intended for socio-educational animators intervening with young people and adults away from academic knowledge and will allow them to understand international news, thanks to a critical use of media, the discovery of new sources of information and how to produce reliable information. In four areas: violent extremism, Israeli-Palestinian conflict, migration and climate change. Finally, two modules aim to equip young people and women with political decision-making through the appropriation of strategies and methods of lobbying, advocacy and negotiation. These seven modules are used in each country by the consortium members for face-to-face training and are also freely available online at http://www.liberte-de-conscience-rideuromed.com/ and https: // www .decrypterlactuinternationale-rideuromed.org / modules-de-training /. The partners associated 169 structures, 71 experts who contributed to the creation of these modules and reached 3889 people during their dissemination, training, exchange times, debates and experiments. The learners were extremely diverse: German teachers, French animators, Tunisian rights activists, Moroccan academics or women cooperators in Morocco still ... The two e-learning platforms, which today bring together all the resources produced are intended to regularly offer "mini-conference debates" on all of the project's themes. The consortium team made up of « development project managers » and « social and solidarity economy experts » has acquired the skills of international training engineer. Their organizations have diversified the courses they offer and clarified the way to go towards the quality labels and ISO and AFNOR certifications, have gained a national legitimacy vis-à-vis the actors of the civil society, the public authorities, institutions and universities, have received many requests for face-to-face training. They also experienced three years of solidarity in training engineering and international project management which now gives them the ability to think and defend a fair and transparent collective strategy for a Euro-Maghreb consortium.
