Our programme involves the cooperation of 4 secondary schools to realize a joint project: between Hungary, Kisújszállás, the Zsigmond Móricz Reformed College, Secondary Grammar, Technical School and Elementary School and Willamovice in Poland , which is an administratively unified town with territorially three distinct secondary schools (Dankovice, Pisarzovice, Willamovice). The educational institutions of the two towns have been maintaining a friendly relationship and cooperation since 2008 realizing students exchange programs every year. The activities that have been carried out throughout these years were limited to free time activities that included sport activities, culture and tourism. The Erasmus+ project, however, provides an excellent opportunity to extend our relationship and to carry out a joint educational project. We intend to involve students between the ages of 13-17 in the project. Among the colleagues we aim at involving in the educational process are those who teach Economy and English and also others who will help in the realisation of cultural and free time activities. The number of students involved in the project directly is 70.During the two-year program (24 months) we aim to realize two transnational meetings and four students’ short term exchange programs. The number of educational mobilities during project is 100.We aim at sharing our good practices with each other and embedding them into our teaching-learning process. Furthermore, we would like to encourage and develop the communication between our students taking advantage of the use and improvement of their English language knowledge (developing foreign language competence) and the opportunities provided by informatics (developing their ICT competencies). By taking part in the project our student will learn how to work and cooperate in an international team and besides this their communication skills and tolerance will develop. The project is based on the development of enterpreneurial skills. The secondary school in Kisújszállás has been educating classes specialised in economics for many years thus having more decades of experience in it. Among other things this school has a good practice in operating students’ enterprises. Our school can undertake to hand over its activity oriented program in adaptable form to the partner school. In the course of the program the students of both secondary schools establish joint international students’ enterprises that produce traditional handcraft products. In order to produce these handcraft products we would like to utilize the sources of the institutions (e.g. special burning oven/furnace) and we also count on the cooperation of local handcraft groups (basketwork, producing works from straw). The students’ enterprises are guided by teachers from its establishment through the work-phases to its elimination. Besides the building of the enterprise, planning of the work, production and marketing of the goods, students are going to introduce their enterprises in real-life circumstances on fairs and school events and are going to gain real life experience on the effectiveness of their work. After the summary of the experiences the partner schools are going to embed the program into their curriculum.Besides learning from each other we expect from the project that by the end of the program our students’ cooperative and enterpreneurial and social skills will develop, and they also will develop positive emotional links towards each other. Our teachers will be acquainted with new methods and practices that they will be able to adapt to their teaching practice.A long term advantage of the project is that our students’ chances in the labour market will improve by empowering them with enterpreneurial competencies.
Two sister cities were involved in the Project. In Kisujszallas ( Hungary ) Zsigmond Moricz Reformed College and from Wilamowice ( Poland ) administrative center, three secondary schools in Dankowice, Pisarcowice and Wilamowice took part in the partnership. The mentioned above settlements had been in tight friendly relationship before and since 2008 have been providing annual short-term students’ exchange mobilities, which were mostly about taking part in mutual free time activities ( sports, cultural events, travelling ). The Erasmus+ Project gave us a perfect opportunity to broaden our relationships by adding educational aspect as well. The empulsion of the Erasmus + Project was that we took our earlier cooperation to a higher level of professional cooperation. Our Aim was to exchange our positive experiences in education and upbringing pupils and trying to make them usefull in each other’s educational process. On the other hand, we were doing our best to better our students’ communication skills by using the English language as well as their knowledge of the computer by using all the IT possibilities. We believe that through this international cooperation our students’ communication ability has improved a lot together with their tolerance towards each other. The Project’s intention was to develop students’ commercial abilities. The Secondary School in Kisujszallas has provided Economics course for decades and thus has gained a great experince in initiating and running students’ enterprises. So, the Hungarian partner agreed to share it with the Polish patrners’ schools to be adapted and used locally. Within the Project three mutual international students’ enterprises were created by the students aged 13-17. During two years ( 24 months ) 2 partners’ meeting and 4 students mobilities have been held. The quantity of students and the mobilities have been carried out as planned. The number of educational mobilities during the Project have been about 100. The Students’ Enterprises from their start to liquidation were closely supervised by the teachers and were put to the test by working in real life conditions, like market places and school events whilist the participants were gaining immediate experience and feedback, seeing the importance and results of their efforts. For the products’ production we used both material and human sources ( e.g. ceramics production ). The oucome of the Project has brought the participants improved communication skills, commercial abilities and those in cooperation. They developed the emotional bond between them. The teachers had the chance to learn new techniques from each other which they can try afterwards. The students obtained valuable knowledge in business, which can be a great advantage for them in the future ( getting a better job ). Analising all the experiences of the Project the partners wiil use sme parts of the Business Program in their educational system. The Access to the professional mazerial on Students Enterprises we grant through the Project’s website.
