This project aims to increase the quality and relevance of learning opportunities by creating common skills between four European partners. We would like to develop hosting places for youngsters with fewer opportunities in each partner country. Indeed, for many years, we can notice a shortfall in the mobility projects for NEETS. There are only too few adapted projects for these youngsters (not enough accessibility in the activities program, too long timelines, and not enough shared stakes between partners sending and hosting youngsters). In this context, this project seeks to analyze professional positions and contextual realities, to exchange know-hows and analyze blockages in order to answer to youth workers and youngster’s qualification expectations and needs. We would like to impulse a professional dynamic which would be in phase with each partner context. Our goal is to enhance the European cooperation by creating hosting projects for youngsters (in formal and non-formal education), in the identification of the various steps support process, particularly in social entrepreneurship possibilities. Time of the project: 28 month, from September 2016 to December 2018. Project timeline include transnational times alternation: - 4 copiloting meetings with 3 to 4 participants by country- 4 practice’s exchange and training seminar: 4 participants by countryTotal of participants: 116 (within 4 from ethnic’s minorities or specific communities)Each organization will have the reponsability in its own area of the implementation and animation of a seminar-training, in which he is a specialist: - WERKstattSCHULE, in Germany: “Continuity between formal and non-formal education : qualification program for youth workers or teachers to strengthen the pedagogical competencies- YOUNET, in Italy: Social Entrepreuneurship and NEETs- Mundus, in Spain: learning mobility and VET in the NEET experience- i-PEICC, in France: Involvement and participation of NEETThis project has for basis the self-training logic. Each participant holds an expertise, and the competence is made by the synergies of all various expertises. Each participant is in the same time trained (par his peers) and trainer (to his peers). Each used methods, during exchanges of best practices as well as during trainings, requires active participation from the participants. The alternation between transnational copiloting meetings and seminar-trainings should enhance the project appropriation by all participants (from referents to animators), and by partners and local authorities associated in each place.Attending results: - Each production collected during seminars-trainings – pedagogical material, experience testimonies and group analysis, resources, frame of informal and learning's times animation – will be made available on a digital platform, which will serve as an intranet for participants in its private form and as an open resources place in its public one.- A public and private partners awareness of the necessity of decompartmentalization for better coherence of NEET’s inclusion disposals. Project should allows behavioral changes in the youth workers practices, in organization in which they are working and, in fine, in NEET’s support. At the end of the project, we evaluate to the number of 40 the new hosting projects for NEETS, which means 10 by country.
OpportuNEETies project was created by i.PEICC and its partners after realizing a lack of mobility projects open to young NEETs – and especially to youngsters with fewer opportunities – and a lack of knowledge and tools for the youth workers, to work efficiently with this target group. The objectives of the project were multiple : - To promote exchanges between professional youth workers, to allow them to acquire new competences and new tools, especially in their work with NEETS, and thus, to promote a high quality youth work, - To develop mobility opportunities for NEETS and to increase the number of hosting places, - To cross formal education logics with non-formal educations logics, - To create a common referential of good practices, - To increase the involvement of local and regional public authorities in youth mobility, - To promote the education to entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship among youngsters. Four partners were the main actors of this project : - i.PEICC : organization of popular education located in France, who coordinated the project. - YouNet : Italian organization specialized in European mobility and in training courses for youth workers, especially in training courses linked with social entrepreneurship. - Mundus : Spanish organization which develops many mobility projects for youngsters and youth workers : EVS, youth exchanges, training courses, VET mobility… - Werkstattschule Heidelberg : German organization which promotes social integration through manual work and through the discovery of the talent of each one. This project included 4 transnational meetings and 4 seminar-trainings (ST) : each partner hosted in its country one meeting and one seminar-training. The goal of the transnational meetings was to prepare the seminar-trainings, to evaluate the project during its all duration, to facilitate the communication between partners and to adapt the project to each partner’s context. The seminar-trainings gathered together 4 youth workers from each country and were based on the following themes: 1 – The links between formal and non-formal education, in Germany, 2 – The education to entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship, in Italy, 3 – VET mobility, in Spain, 4 – The involvement of youngsters and professionals, with a focus on youngsters with a physical disability OpportuNEETies allowed the 4 partners to really learn to know each other and to understand the contextual realities of each one. It allows 64 European youth workers to analyze their practices, to discover new tools and to acquire new competencies. A common guide of good practices was written by the partners in order to share the reflections carried out during the project. These results are online (http://opportuneeties.com/). This project also allowed the four partners to develop their local networks in order to create new opportunities for NEETs. At the end of the project, already 175 youngsters have benefited from the mobility projects born from this project.
