Visions for our Europe: European Design - EUROPIA 2020 Our project "European DESIGN - EUROPIA 2020" will be created by 8 European Countries from north (Lithuania) to south (Italy), from west (Portugal) to east (Bulgaria) with a lot of European teamwork experiences. We cooperate with the youth art association "Art & Development". The association was founded in 2011 in Hallein (Austria) together with artists (especially teenagers) from Europe, Caucasus and Middle East, and Africa (Ghana). Objectives include a common development work in arts and culture by award scholarships for summer workshops, organizing exhibitions and developing art projects in public space. The association helps us to involve also European coutries out of European Union, especially Bosnia&Herzegowina and Albania. European Design: We are working on labels for design objects like cans, bottles etc. with printings, drawings, images. We use design drawings, visits with designers, visual communication and digital technologies (multimedia, film animation, web design, web marketing, video, virtual 3d, advertising graphics and paper publishing) EUROPIA 2020 - hugh round panoramic picture (20 meters long, 2 meters high) - designed together during the meetings, workshops in all schools, finished at the end in Austria Visions for our new European capital. We will analyse European cities – what is necessary for our European capital? Which buildings do we need, nature or not, what about mobility in our city, what about different cultures. At the end we are painting in a workshop in Austria our visions, our dreams for our new and common capital EUROPIA inside the hugh panoramic picture. The Austrian school entrance is a permanent open space exhibition (Annex) for our design products and for European projects in school, European ideas and creativity, European values.we are all designers now. We create and produce our own design objects as blow up - designs during the exchanges.

The Austrian school was the coordinator. The association ART & DEVELOPMENT organized a collaboration with the partner school in B&H, which organized a milk packaging competition. At all project meetings, the city map and design for EUROPIA 2020 were always worked on and the resulting joint decisions were sketched and prepared on the large panorama picture (20 meters long, 2 meters high) in Austria, so that the round picture could be completed at the final meeting. Unfortunately, due to the Covit-19 situation, the final meeting was only held as a video conference. At the project meetings, we also discussed and analyzed visions for our new European capital. What is necessary for our European capital? Which buildings do we need, nature or not, what about mobility in our city, what about different cultures, what is the health system, the school etc. All of these discussions were prepared and carried out by student coordinators of the Austrian school. The results of these discussions and democratic votes were summarized in the constitution (see annex). The final video conference also discussed how to deal with a pandemic in Europia. The incomplete picture is exhibited in the Austrian school. The very positive experience with the student parliament will certainly be reused in other activities and projects.
