Project "ECOllege" Priorities of the project: HORIZONTAL: Achievement of relevant and high quality skills and competences SCHOOL EDUCATION: Promoting the acquisition of skills and competences Topics: Research and innovation New innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training courses Environment and climate change Objectives 1.Improving the quality and relevance of the services in the field of education, training and youth, through the development of innovative approaches and disseminating good practice; 2.Promoting environmental education for developing active citizenship; 3.Promote the professional development of staff and youth workers in ICT methodologies and support the development and use of open educational resources in various European languages; Project Duration - 16 months. The target group is 200 European students aged between 10-20. Planning activities: 1.Project management and implementation 2.Transnational project meetings /3 meetings in every partner countries-Bulgaria,Greece and Romania/ 3.Intellectual outputs 3.1. Studies and analyzes of Bulgarian and international experience (Romania and Greece) (O1); -"Study and analysis of the experience in other Member States of existing standards, programs and tools to stimulate active school participation for environmental education"; -"Research and analysis of approaches and methodologies that identify individual requirements and needs in order to promote environmental education" 3.2. Development of manuals and guidelines (O2) - For school participation for environmental education with practical advice and guidance; - Social responsibility and school participation for environmental education. 3.3. Development of innovation - platform ECOllege (O3) - Preparation phase of the platform - Implementation of the platform ECOllege. 3.4 Organization of trainings (O4) AYPB will organize 10 two - days trainings. Each of them will be attended by 10 youth. Each of our partners 5 – two days trainings (in Greece and Romania). They will be on topics: environmental education, how to clean the planet etc. and opportunities of the Online platform . Attention is paid on programs and reports for Improving the attainment of young people, particularly those at risk of early school leaving. 4. Multiplier events - 4 Seminars of sharing and dissemination of the projects products and results, with 50 local participants each. And in total 10 international participants. The main result quantity and quality indicators for the project proposal are: -2 studies involving 200 student from Bulgaria, Romania and Greece -Developed 2 guides - - For school participation for environmental education with practical advice and guidance; - Social responsibility and school participation for environmental education. - 1 online platform ECOllege -50 registered users in the social media group for exchange of experiences and best practices -10 two - days trainings, each of which will be attended by 10 Bulgarian young people. In total100 participants from BG. Our partners will organize 5 – two days trainings (in Greece and Romania). In total 100 participants from Greece and Romania. - 4 Seminars (Multiplier events) for sharing and dissemination the project results and products -in total 200 participants. The project is directly related to the title of Varna for European Youth Capital 2017 campaign slogan is INNOWAVE VARNA! Varna (Bulgaria) is the 2017 European Youth Capital. The association is part of the Youth Advisory Council of the Municipality of Varna, who was the main initiator of the participation of Varna for European Youth Capital. The team that works directly on the performance of the capital of representatives of the council, and we include in almost all initiatives related to the preparation of the application. AYPB works directly as team Varna Youth Capital 2017 and all organizations in the Youth Advisory Council.The project focus is on tackling youth unemployment and improving the quality of education staff, fully consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus +. This is our second project proposal and we have fully complied with the recommendations of the Evaluation Committee.
