European society, being the densest populated continent with the most developed economies, has been facing Eco issues for years such as global warming and the pollution, which is the result of our fast pace technological development on the one hand, on the other hand the younger generation experiences need of entrepreneurial skills. All this made us think of strategies which to help the youth to grow up as Eco-conscious people who also have the knowledge on entrepreneurship since very young age. The idea of A BEE C project - Artistic Approach to Business Education, Entrepreneurship and Culture, is to develop the students’ entrepreneurial skills and Eco-consciousness through Arts. The Mascot of the project, The Bee, has been chosen and thought of as a symbolic character, which has implies the idea of hard working people and an indicator for clean environment. The abbreviation A Bee C, is also meaningful as it indicates the initial stage of knowledge- it is homophonic to the first letters of the alphabet. The goal of the project application is informally educating children in economics and ecology through creating art products, as well as products merchandise, introduction and creative distribution. The project familiarizes children with the whole process of creating an art product /a stage play, a comic strip, electron adaptation of the story/ as well as its accompanying activities for the creation of merchandise, towards this art product. The project will last for two years, in the first year a play will be created and set on stage in front of audience, and in the second year a comic strip and the electron adaptation of the story with the same plot line will be created and presented in front of the community. All of the participants /students, consultants and mentors/ are volunteers and the activities of the introduction and distribution of the final products in front of an audience /merchandising/ will be done by volunteering students and teachers and to volunteering audience. The project creates one student international company with 4 Departments: Drama Department– the participating children must be children who have interest in writing a story and a screenplay Art Department– children with artistic abilities and talents/painting, handcrafting/ who will participate in the crafting of items and decors, etc. Comics Department– the participating children should have an interest in writing stories or in drawing /here the children from section script writers and décor designers, may also participate if they wish/. IT Department– the participating children should have a taste for computer games and wish to learn how to create such games – text, graphics, animation, sound. The work on the creation of the story – script and so on, will be in English through a sequential involvement of every country on the principle “continue onward”. The story will be translated into the mother language of every partner country and will be performed in front of the local public. Every Comics Department will create a story under the same title Crazy Bee in English and mother language. The final comics will be published on the web page of the project. Every IT Department will recreate the story into an electron version n English based on one of the partners’ stories. The stories are chosen by lot. The international pairs working on it will be formed by two teams (one IT team and one Comics team) from different nations. The pair matching will be set by lot. As a result six comic strips and six electronic versions (games) will be made. At the end of the project there will be 6 stage performances altogether in each country one will be set in the local language. Thus, each one of the performances will be set on with a different set of decors and costumes (six performances and six sets of decors will be made based on the common project script). Six sets of comic strips will be produced on each national language as well as in English, accompanied by their electron versions in English. The main products – the stage performances, the comic strips and the electronic versions will be disseminated through advertisement materials with the aim of larger profits (merchandise) with charitable cause.
