The project is focused on elaborating innovative training programmes focused on master-suppression techniques. Even though these techniques significantly contribute to gender inequality (in decision-making) they are only marginally included in empowerment programmes/trainings for women and girls. Women’s educational organizations from partners countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Ireland, Norway) have been running education for years nevertheless all of them understand the need to absorb new impulses, include new innovative approaches and tools and keep high quality standard. Although all partner organizations and their staff provide professional high quality trainings there is still space for improvement in order to promote gender equality more efficiently. Therefore we will focus on new topic (master-suppression techniques) and method (the theatre of the oppressed) in order to enhance the scope, quality and efficiency of existing educational and training activities carried out by partners. Collaborative work of partnership (Czech Republic, Poland, Ireland, Norway) is designed to support planned educational programmes, create new strategies and approaches as a result of collaborative learning and exchange of experiences. Implementation of the project will increase competencies and professional skills of participating organizations' staff as well as provide them with new knowledge which will positively influence the educational activities and therefore speed of positive changes in European societies in the field of gender equality. Objectives are following: • To elaborate innovative training programmes (including both content and tools) focused on master-suppression techniques shared via EPALE and GEPLE e-platform on the European level • To develop new training approaches and teaching strategies toward gender empowerment training and leadership education • To promote women's political participation and active European citizenship • To enhance know-how and practice exchange among partners from European countries across various regions • To promote transnational partnership, to gain experience in international cooperation and strengthen the capacities of adult and youth education staff Project activities include: • 6 transnational project meetings of the staff • Research conducted in all partner countries in order to map existing approaches to master-suppression techniques and eventual educational materials • 7 intellectual outputs production: - Training programmes for women politicians and for girls (O 1, O 2) - Role plays for women politicians and for girls (O 3, O 4) - Videos on master-supression techniques – supporting educational materials (O 5) - Brochure about master-suppression techniques (O 6) - Educational set (incl. Methodological support for educators - O 7) • 1 multiplier event – dissemination of relevant intellectual outputs: brochure about master-suppression techniques and training programmes for women politicians and for girls; this event will take place in Prague (CZ) and it will employ (and at the same time introduce) innovative method – the theatre of the oppressed • PR and active dissemination of all project results and outputs Coordinator of the project: Fórum 50 % from the Czech Republic. Targeted dissemination campaigns will help to spread the results and outcomes in partner countries as well as on the EU level (EPALE, GEPLE e-platform, EWL, EIGE). Intellectual outputs will be accessible to public and sustainable due to incorporating them in existing educational/training programmes as well as sharing them via existing e-platforms and networks.
The project aim was to elaborate innovative training materials focused on master-suppression techniques. Even though these techniques significantly contribute to gender inequality (not only in political decision-making), they are only marginally included in empowerment programmes/trainings for women and girls. Women’s educational organizations from partners´countries (Czech Republic, Poland and Norway) have been running education for years nevertheless all of them understood the need to absorb new impulses, include new innovative approaches and tools and keep high quality standard. Although all partner organizations and their staff provided professional high quality trainings they were aware of opportunities for improvement in order to promote gender equality in their respective countries more efficiently. That is why the project focused on new topic (Master-suppression techniques) and innovative method (Theatre of the Oppressed) in order to enhance the scope, quality and efficiency of existing educational and training activities and materials carried out by women´s educational organizations. Collaborative work of Czech, Polish and Norwegian partnership was designed to support planned educational programmes. It created new strategies and approaches as a result of collaborative learning and exchange of experiences. Implementation of the project increased competencies and professional skills of participating organizations' staff as well as provided them with new knowledge which positively influenced educational activities and therefore speed of positive changes in European societies in the field of gender equality. Targeted dissemination campaigns helped to spread the results and outcomes in partner countries as well as on EU level. Intellectual outputs are accessible to public and sustainable because they were incorporated in existing educational/training programmes as well as they were shared via networks of various relevant stakeholders (experts, youth educators, representatives of political parties, publicly active women and citizens, media etc.)
