Erasmus Plus KA219 'Let me think/Let me be myself - ICT as a tool of inclusion and opportunities' is a partnership for 3 years between schools from Eastern Europe, Southern Europe and Scandinavia. AIM Some EU member states have already reached the abovementioned goal and other states still have too many students that leave the school too early (drop out) or are excluded from the school. All schools are working to minimize the drop out and maximize the inclusion, and we want to use ICT to increase it even more. The aim is better social inclusion with use of ICT and to reduce the early school leaver rate. We want to find and investigate teaching methods with ICT that will allow students to think about their identity as a part of an including group/class/school/community in order to strengthen their capacity 1) to make conscious choices, 2) to take into consideration the continually widening territorial, social and cultural environment, 3) to understand the value of completing an education. OBJECTIVES 1) To gain an overview of the different systems of education in the partner countries and the special conditions of teaching and learning at each school. 2) By use of classroom observations, to gain experience and knowledge of different teaching methods using ICT. 3) To exchange, discuss and develop teaching models to support the students' learning strategies. 4) To identify and develop ICT strategies and methods to help all students, in particular students at risk, increasing their motivation for continuing their education. 5) To develop the teachers’ knowledge and competences in the use of ICT strategies and methods. We want the teachers to promote including teaching/learning approaches for all students. The participating schools come from countries with quite different history, culture and educational systems. The project will therefore give the students, teachers and leaders valuable intercultural knowledge. These issues will be addressed through the motilities and the local activities. Between the project meetings, local activities to similar topics will take place in each partner region. The link between the thematic project meetings and the local activities will support and guarantee the systematical progress of the project.
