Positive coexistence in the school society. The main objective of this project is the improvement of performance by imitating the correct behaviour of social models, due to the importance of role models for young people. This stimulates the need to learn, study and update knowledge of our students. Precisely with the development of this project we want to promote positive coexistence in the school society and the use of innovative new products and ICT. All partners involved in this project think that European 2020 strategy is essential for taking the bases of the project, it has its objectives set out in 5 fields: education, employment, innovation, poverty and climate change. We want to collaborate to this strategy on three objectives: education, innovation and poverty that, after all, are implicated in the school coexistence. Our project emphasizes the initiative "youth on the move" that aims to: · avoid leakage of students · detect crisis in the classroom because of the incorrect behaviour of students. · act with bullying in social media · design new strategies, methods and protocols for preventing, acting and solving different kind of behavior problems, mainly “conflicts among equals” · involve families in the process of positive coexistence at school · show to our students the importance of role models for young people · bring to our students the enriching opportunity to study at European schools Students are the main actors in this performance. Cultural diversity generated by this project, enriches and strengthens the relations among Finland, France, Germany, Greece and Spain. It is very important to exchange experiences and educational methodologies among these five European countries with so disparate contexts. As a result, the main objectives of this project are: · Know different ways of facing coexistence problems at classroom among the different countries. Furthermore, we can experience the “learning by doing” methodology in another way, as long as students will learn about these five countries by making research, living directly other protocols and then by comparing the results achieved · Bring students to the social and cultural realities of the five countries. . Make the students to acquire different strategies from other countries for solving problems at their own schools. · Strengthen created links among Finland, Greece and Spain in previous European projects and create new amazing links with the new countries France and Germany. · Work on the student's' personal autonomy in order to enable them to manage on their own outside the family environment, which will be transferred to later stages · know and adapt to other social and geographical realities within the European framework, accepting and respecting possible differences in daily life contexts · Improve the linguistic competence in the “lingua franca” and to incorporate new languages to the students' communicative repertoire · Encourage the use of ICT in education Our students have the chance to be in these different European regions and experience their different lifestyles. So this project will help us to promote students and teachers’ mobility and to continue with the great experiences that some students have lived before. Families also realize the European dimension due to the experience of hosting students from other countries with other realities
The project has managed to develop activities in which Positive Coexistence has been a protagonist in school life, and essential to promote the correct acquisition of coexistence skills. It has been possible to verify the conditions that are created in the schools that allow the improvement of students’ behavior, the relationships among them and how they face the challenge of social inclusion assuming that this current reality is an opportunity to grow and foster among students the values of equality, respect and solidarity, strengthening the idea of European citizenship. We have been able to approach the convivial realities of other schools and how positive coexistence has been encouraged from work and dedication. We have seen that the ties among the different delegations have been strengthened, the exchange of experiences and educational methodologies have enriched our teaching actions. In the different learning activities, short and long-term mobility, eTwinning, as well as in management and project development teams, a total of 155 students and teachers have participated directly and approximately 300 more, indirectly (students, teachers, families, friends, staff of collaborating companies, non-teaching staff of educational centers, etc ...) Three transnational meetings were held in Spain, Germany and Greece, with the final objective of establishing the general aspects in the implementation of the program and conducting the follow-up sessions of the programmed objectives. Three months reciprocal long-term mobilities among Spain, Finland and France. They have allowed our students to promote learning focused on the development of social and interpersonal skills, self-knowledge and multiculturalism. They have managed to get our students to develop an understanding of the diversity of European culture and languages, while helping them to acquire skills necessary for their personal growth. They have directly verified how different schools face coexistence, and they have been involved in different conflict resolution strategies with different roles specified in the program. Four short-term mobilities have been made to Finland, Greece, Germany and France. The topics worked have been Social Models and values which our teenagers pay more attention to. Actions carried out in the schools of the different delegations to achieve a better and more effective positive coexistence. Bullying and cyberbullying in the school context. Tools sharing and strategies used in each school to successfully solve different types of disruptive crises in the classroom. The impact has been huge in our participating students, as they have had the opportunity to meet other European countries, other educational schools, other students and other families, making friends and improving their social and interpersonal skills. We have appreciated a great number of applications to participate in future European programs by means of personal interviews and surveys on future training concerns. Similarly, and concerning families, it has been noticed a greater interest and willingness to participate in European projects. The concern for language learning has improved significantly, both in students and in participating teachers. A significant improvement can be seen in the grades obtained in languages, as well as an increase of students in the language election. Students have actively participated, and so will do, in all the activities of a convivial nature that took place in the schools, implementing what they learned in the groups of helping student, mediation, reception, volunteering and older brother. All the gained experience will provide them with better tools to help other students. The internationalization of the schools is a long-term benefit that will undoubtedly improve the life of the school and its motivation to undertake projects of this nature with the parallel benefit to the students. The worked and developed methodologies will benefit coexistence and social inclusion, in the short, medium and long term, once the different realities are contextualized and subject to periodic reviews and evaluations. The project website, the collaborative wall, the activities of the results platform, the videos on social channels and the methodological proposals in order to improve coexistence will contribute in the long term to the improvement of the coexistence of European schools, since they will be available to others, and strategic associations that want to address this issue in other educational projects.
