The project "Super Scientist" main objective is to motivate students for scientific research, analysing the importance of science in real life and their human implications. On this purpose students will work in real life situations, which will make them aware of the implications of scientific research on social and human issues. To develop this fundamental objective of the project we will create learning arrangements in which students can explore, learn and consider human side of science. These arrangements will motivate the development of creative learners through practical material (experiments), use of ICT tools and software for simulations. These arrangements will be drafted by teachers but also planned by students, tested in classes and then evaluated by partners students and teachers. We will mainly involve students at the age of 13-15 years old. Each meeting has a real life topic e.g. water management. We will take 8 students of each country to each of the three planned meetings. They will work in international teams, solving issues related to the topic prepared before. They will offer different solutions, and points of view of the analysed problem. All students activities will involve the development of students' language skills since we will focus on CLIL methodology, as well as key competences. This matches with the objectives of the EU 2020 Horizon programme, especially with the aim of creating quality science. Students will also enrich themselves through the study of the human side of science and the importance of this issue in a construction of a respectful and inclusive European society. Teachers will also benefit from the project, through exchanging teaching methods that are highly cooperative. This expands teachers' practice and increase teaching effectiveness. All participants will improve their knowledge of the different European cultures, promoting personal growth and development. One of the main innovations of this project is the involvement of a research center of the environment of each visited school. A specific scientific experience will be organized through a scientist and a teacher. This will place students in a real scientific research situation, analyzing the human component, where collaboration between different spheres of society will be the key to success. Finally, students will participate in "Super-Lessons" planned by Erasmus+ teachers. Students will attend normal science lessons in the hosting school as well, allowing them to have a view of the different ways of approaching science. In between the meetings exhibitions or fairs are planned where the students of the project, conscious scientists, can explain some of the experiences learned in their own classes, or younger students. In this way they also become transmitters of the human implications of science.
