Our centre has been in touch with the rest of countries involved within this initiative since 2012. Our contact comes from the eTwinning platform and the form has been negotiated and agreed among all the partners. We have got a programme from the Educational Inspection Service about Transition Educational Stages in curricular and living areas. We intended to work and study the geometry from the perspective of art (in its various manifestations), taking advantage of our pupils to discover the legacy that history has made, and continues making of Europe a rich and varied continent. We started with the concept of volume. It was designed to be carried out during 36 months. Along this period the proper evaluation of the project was ensured due to, throughout this time, the students experimented the transit between different educative stages. Within this project 6 institutions are involved and we have got students between 3 and 16 years old. MOTIVATIONAL ASPECTS The need and the interest to integrate learning from a globalizing perspective The need to generate in students a concern to know Europe and assume roles as European citizens. Improve English language proficiency as a necessary and functional means of communication Ensure the students COMPETENCES FAVORING ASPECTS. We are convinced that, based on the motivational axis of the historical, natural, linguistic and artistic richness of Europe, the teaching and learning work has more guarantee of success Finland is working on its new educational programs, especially on new techniques, methodologies and resources. Poland has a good experience in the field of mathematics. They have school programs that link art and math and some international awards for their brightest students We counted on 4 courses with a program of Educational Transition between the different educational stages Turkey has experience in European project management Italy, contributes initiatives of geometry vs art; Mathematical awards and construction of historical buildings to scale All participating organizations have experience in online document management and in eTwinning Projects.
