Our project is born from the need to look for tools in the field of school education based on artistic education. "Arts talk about us" tries to find the voice and identity of each of us in the artistic manifestations: looking for common points that empower the differences to understand, building the European social dimension. Art, creativity, skills and competencies will be worked transversally, with innovative practices and use of digital resources, favoring social inclusion through mutual knowledge and joint work. But it is not only a project about art and / or art-based, because is based on the need to make transfers in the different educational areas (teachers, methodologies, resources, experiences, skills, social inclusion ...) and offer a quality education, committed to society and guaranteeing the students their opportunities of the future. The specific objectives of the project will focus on three main areas:A) To promote the acquisition of skills and competencesB) Social inclusionC) Open and innovative practices in the digital ageThe project is developed and directed to the SCHOOL, as a socializing element of students, the place to develop the maximum of its potential, its abilities and its competences. To teachers, as mediators of learning, providing resources and innovative strategies and quality for the educational community, for the development and social integration of each of our children. All students and teachers, regardless of the level, of each of the centers, will be an active part of the project.Art is the axis of the project, cause art means historical and cultural expression and is a resource in the search of creativity and innovative practices. To know ourselves through artistic expressions is to know ourselves through feelings, history, myths and legends, folklore, etc. Many of the artistic representations do not use oral / written language, they are interpreted through image, composition, structure, color, movement, expression ... facilitating us a common language for starting to know us. It is even more tangible in the musical field: a piece will be written and read with the same tools in any of our communities. Literature offers us the opportunity to develop the affection for the language as an artistic and cultural expression of each people. Thus, art in Europe is not small, particular and representative of minorities, because different historical and cultural periods collide and diffuse. It is about finding us, comparing us, knowing us and valuing us. Art is an element that has built our common culture and our artistic, cultural and even immaterial heritage. The transnational level will allow us to travel through our history, from prehistoric art to cinema and will offer us the tools of understanding and collaboration we are looking for. The project consists of different parts:1:Identify us with our artistic representing, like icons, narrate...These representations narrate parts of our history, culture, traditions, features as a nation... We want to explain and show the others what we are as we are, using our art as a mirror and historical source.2:Look for artistic expressions that represent common parts of our history as European community: how we are alike and different, because that makes us special and complementary, which describes our evolution, how we have influenced each other over time and what has led us to be aware of the need to support one another in search of a common future.3:What role art education today in the construction of the common Europe and how we think will be the art we create together and how we think represent our situation in the future. Will future generations imagine how we were, we thought, we communicated... through our artistic representations? We would perform different educational activities:A.Projects presented to other members of our artistic heritage-cultural: ICT, video, milestones in our history, multiculturalism, etc. that would show the other partners.B.Projects that resolved issues of our colleagues on aspects of our culture that they are interested dances, music, traditions, gastronomy, vocabulary...C.Projects together on our joint history, artistic influences on each other, "borrowed culture" and multiculturalism...D.Exchanges with puppils to visualize, know, show all these aspects towards building our European identity. So, let's talk through art and let art talk about us.
Context: from the school context of primary education, the project has made possible to influence the educational quality of each center, through the transfers that have been made between the partners and by implementing community activities that favored school and social aspects, related to education, educational community and with the municipality and that, in our center, without this kind of activities would not be possible due to socio-economic situation and cultural level of our students. Goals: A) Promote the acquisition of skills and competences: the students have improved considerably in linguistic and foreign language skills, as well as artistic and emotional education. A different perception of the concept of European citizenship and respect, also and interest towards artistic and cultural manifestations of other origins is observed. The teaching staff has improved the implementation of activities that develop skills in the students, through the activities carried out, the jobshadowing and the exchange of teaching practices that has been taking part with the other teachers from the partner countries / schools. B) Social inclusion: the most relevant aspect has been the participation of students in cultural activities with their classmates (from the center and from partner countries) that they had not access personally; artistic activities: visits to museums, concerts, exhibitions, graffiti painting, arts and crafts for the dissemination of the project, etc. Another of the inclusion indicators has been the participation in LTT of students in risk of social exclusion due to socio-cultural and / or economic reasons. C) Open and innovative practices in the digital age: eTwinning, zoom, video calls, videos on Facebook, online voting ... many activities of this project have been carried out online (especially the last year due to the SARS COVID19 pandemic ) improving the digital competence of students and teachers and bringing and improving the use and knowledge of ICT. Participants: all the teachers and students of all the centers of the association have participated, since each of the activities developed has been adapted to the ages of the students, which ranged from 3 to 15 years. The 5th / 6th grade students (10-12 years old) benefited especially, as the association decided that they would be the ones who would travel to the LTT. In the case of our center, the smallest next to the Finnish one, the total of participants has been about 220 students, 18 members of the teacher's staff and the educational community. In the case of the Italian school, the biggest, we are talking about almost 2,000 students. Description of activities: all the activities that were proposed in the schedule have been developed and adapted to be able to carry them out with guarantees of success in all schools. Obviously, they were all related to artistic education in all its aspects and how to link it to the knowledge of the rest of our partners: sharing and showing painters, musicians, traditions, dances, festivals, folk, legends, sculptures, popular songs, etc. In the same way, artistic expression through theater, literature, music ... has been used with students with diverse backgrounds could carry out joint activities without any kind of difficulty. Among the most outstanding and unforeseen activities, the creation of the teachers' choir and the organization, in each LTT or TPM, of an act with the educational community to show the evolution of the project. Results: all the partners are very satisfied with the results. Although we deeply regret not having been able to expand our project in time due to the COVID situation, since the activities of the second and third quarters of 2020 have not been carried out, including the scheduled meetings of LTT and TPM (although one could finally take place, not all partners could attend due to the closure of borders and / or limitations of each country). All the activities are exposed at https://twinspace.etwinning.net/49834/home, and our project has quality labels and has even participated in European, national / provincial erasmus conferences and others not foreseen such as CODING WEEK ... Impact / Benefits: until March 2020, all partners were working on developing instruments to measure impact. The situation with COVID has made it very difficult to reach conclusions on a large scale, and most of us have limited information on the impact to our school / school community. We are convinced that participation in the program has been a before and after in the life of the center and we emphasize the need to know and learn to improve educational quality. Others not foreseen: KA101 for jobshadowing Labor contracts Preparing a KA209 Schools on the move
