Project summary

The aim of the project is to acquire mathematical, scientific, technical, digital competences and the ones necessary for further studies and professional training, furthermore to promote and strengthen the existing competencies of our- and of the partner institutions’ students and teachers. . The above objectives of each partner school were formulated after consulting their needs and a detailed plan for the project emerged after summarizing the institutional needs. The institutional requirements are fully in line with the European priorities, provided that they facilitate the expansion of these skills and competencies and meet the priority of the national office highlighted in 201, as well (creation and changes of good practices in the field of digital education and strengthening the teachers' professional competences ) The project activity is a non-subject-specific, complex talent management program –taking place over the lessons- which affects the above-mentioned areas of competence in a specific topic, robotics. The complex talent development program consists of several cooperating workshops which reinforce and complete one another. The focus is on learning and transferring the best practices, meeting the partners and creating a joint project-product. During the project students develop their own target-competences at their school, getting more and more skills in the field of robotics following the principle of gradualism. It is also the task in each case for students and teachers to develop lesson plans together for the presentation of the topic. They implement the preliminary lesson plans during international partner meetings, the teachers record their experiences and make the final lesson plans based on this and create a teaching material at the end of the project. The training material will be shared not only with the project partners, but also the other players in education. They will be passed as good practices at sites set up for this purpose and on demonstration lessons. Related to the topics of talent development program, we organize visits to assist the guidance of partner meetings (visiting a factory with robot application examples,/robotic workplaces in different economic and other fields,/university / research and development space-depending on local conditions), in which the involved students can get personal experience about researches in robotics and their application in practice, helping their further career choice and placing it in international context. These visits are followed by summaries which are published on the website of our school and in the local media. At the end of the project the presentations will be published as a common electronic publication, a career orientation guide. Of course, the basic goal of each meeting in addition to the development of digital competence is the development of intercultural competences, which is supported by the cultural and sparetime activites organized by all host partners. The sightseeing tours organized by all host partners are in English helping to destroy the language barriers. During the joint project the partners are taking into account all the aspects and interests of one another, they are having ongoing discussions which will contribute to the awareness of European citizens and the development of European identity. In the coordinating institution some of the participating colleagues are before the procedure of graduation career model, therefore for them this project can be a good documented proof of their professional development and innovative view. At our school there is the chance to involve the topic of robotics into the project-driven curriculum of the class specialized in science ,announced in 2016/2017. The participating partners had had similar demands before planning the project : their goal was to involve a wide range of students into the advanced level of robotics , the assistance of job orientation, the creation and usage of effective guidance for teachers that after being ready and adapted to their own school will be useful for them for long term The partnership is not limited to the duration of the project. The cooperation will also be maintained among the teachers and colleagues if they use the electronic surface in the field of robotics during the period following the projects to share their results, or to make mutual e-twinning projects assisting the learning network.

Final report summary

The complex talent development program consisted of several cooperating workshops which reinforced and completed one another. The focus was on learning and transferring the best practices, meeting the partners and creating a joint project-product.The aim of the project was to acquire mathematical, scientific, technical, digital competences and the ones necessary for further studies and professional training, furthermore to promote and strengthen the existing competencies of our and of the partner institutions’ students and teachers. The aims of the project were entirely and successfully reached. The students' digital competences were gradually developed :students and teachers worked out lesson plans together. These plans were accomplished during the international partner-meetings ,then the experiences were summarized. The preliminary lesson plans were transformed into final lesson plans and a teaching material was created at the end of the project. This material is possible to be used in any type of education. The training material will be shared not only with the project partners, but also the other players in education. The outcome are available on the Erasmus+ Mobility Results Platform, on the webpages of each partner country, and the common webpage of the project. The results were sent to the educational knowledge-sharing sites of the participating countries as well ( Hungary: Educational Department, Talent-managing Council). Another aim of the project was to organize visits at the partner-meetings to assist career orientation. On each occasion , participants visited a factory with robot application examples,/robotic workplaces in different economic and other fields,/university / research and development space-depending on local conditions), in which the students involved in could get personal experience about researches in robotics and their application in practice. These visits were followed by reports which were published on the website of the project. In addition to the improvement of the participants' digital competence, intercultural competences were also developed being supported by the cultural and sparetime activites organized by all host partners. The sightseeing tours in English helped to destroy the language barriers. The participating partners had the same demands before planning the project: involving a wide range of students into advanced levels of robotics, assisting career choice, the creation and usage of effective guidance for teachers. This goal was achieved for each school. The students could acquire not only theoretical but also practical experiences as it was reflected in the results of the contentment survey. Visiting factories and universities promoted the students' career-orientation, too.Obtaining experience in a European context contributed to the extra knowledge of both the students and the teachers, which advances willingness to study or finding jobs within the European Union. Over and above that it strengthens the competitiveness of the participating institutions. The participating partners shared their experiences with one another. The lesson plans will be built in the curricula thus the mutually developed product will further be utilized. Owing to the positive experience and the success of the co-operation, the partnership will continue in further projects, and the results of other projects of the partners can also be shared on the electronic surface.
