The project will develop a innovative and interactive methodology for CSR spreading in European higher education field. The rationale is that CSR is identified as a strategic driver of development by EU institutions since the European Council of Lisbon in 2000. If CSR is so crucial for EU sustainable development is important to sensitise citizens and entrepreneurs on this theme and students are a key target because they are the entrepreneurs and society actors of tomorrow. The project will bring together secondary schools, responsible enterprises, and public bodies or other representatives of three regions of Italy, Austria and Slovenia with a similar socio-economic structure in a transnational network. Schools with the cooperation of public bodies and other representatives will monitor spreading of CSR principles and training needs in the involved territories and will publish guide-lines for training about CSR in schools (O1) . A Virtual Learning Environment will be developed and uploaded on website of the project to train teachers of the schools (O2: Virtual Learning Environment for teachers of secondary school). At least one teacher of the classes of the third year must participate because they will participate to the CSR contest. Then teachers will transfer their knowledge about CSR to their students. After the training the partners will create a contest for students of the 3th year (O3: CSR contest for schools): in each country the responsible enterprise will propose its practical case and students will be asked to find an innovative and responsible solution about a specific aspect of CSR. The aspect of CSR that will be chosen by partners after monitoring the activity, will be the same for all countries so the exchange of the solutions of students will be more effective. At the end of the challenge all solutions will be uploaded on the project website to facilitate the exchange of best practice and the enterprise will choose the best solution. The transnational dimension of the project will also be assured by study visits (activity 5: study visits): social partners and students of the class winner of the CSR contest will visits schools, enterprises and public bodies to learn their best practices. Teachers and students will be encouraged to use some EU tools such as eTwinnin, Europass CVs and Youthpass. The project has developed an innovative and interactive methodology for the dissemination of CSR in European secondary schools. The rationale behind the project is that the CSR has been identified by the EU institutions and the 2000 Lisbon European Council as a strategic development driver. If CSR is so crucial for the sustainable development of the EU, it is important to make citizens and entrepreneurs aware of this issue. Students are a key objective because they are the entrepreneurs and actors of tomorrow's society. The project has created a transnational network of secondary schools, responsible companies, public bodies and other representatives of three regions of Italy, Austria and Slovenia with a similar socio-economic structure. The partnership monitored the dissemination of CSR principles and training needs in the territories involved and published the regional and transnational report: " CSR in class: the spreading of CSR in secondary schools and their territories " (O1). Starting from the training needs identified by this study, a basic e-learning course on CSR for schoolteachers was developed (O2: Virtual Learning Environment for teachers of secondary school). All the teachers who participated in the project (31 teachers) had to attend the e-learning course. After the training the partners approved the regulation of the intellectual output O3: CSR contest for schools. On the basis of the transnational O1 report, the partnership has chosen the common theme of the competition: the objective 12 of the sustainable development objectives adopted by the United Nations in 2015. Obviously, the theme was declined in three specific themes in each country, depending on the associated partner that proposed the case study. In each country, three winning projects were selected that were illustrated with a power point presentation in English during the LTTA. The transnational and community dimension of the project was also ensured by learning, teaching and training activities: students and teachers and staff visited schools and businesses and participated in workshops and cultural visits with the aim of learning about some good CSR practices and understand the social and economic context in which they are located. Furthermore, participation in the LTTAs was an important opportunity to strengthen the network between students, teachers and project partners and create a transnational community sensitive to CSR issues. The teachers shared the experience of the CSR IN CLASS project with other teachers on the E-twinning portal. After the end of the LTTA, the teachers helped the students prepare their Europass CVs. The project, coordinated by Unioncamere del Veneto, involved 6 partners: 3 social partners / public bodies: Veneto Region (Italy), Brainplus (Austria) and RAGOR Development Agency (Slovenia) and 3 secondary schools M. Fanno (Italy), B HAK Mürzzuschlag (Austria) and Ekonomska gimnazija in srednja šola Radovljica (Slovenia).
