Project summary

One of the main elements of us, of course is culture. The project tends to improve educational offer in the field of intercultural development by creating master study program in the University. Developing this program means new era of students that will be empowered inter-culturally and are our future leaders in multi ethnic cooperation. It will be multidisciplinary including psychology, language, law, project management, cultural studies. Intercultural studies is defined as a study of different cultures with a goal of advancing knowledge regarding different people and their cultures. Emphasis is put on the cultures that have more influence on intercultural relations and that are more likely to affect international relations. This program has been in existence for quite some time, dating back to before the World War II. Enrolling for a master’s program in intercultural studies seeks to help a student understand the differences among people, the cause of misconceptions among people, the stereotypes that have been created by people over generations and the best way to deal with these issues in the society. With the world fast becoming a global village, with air transport, the Internet, the media and other advancements in technology pushing the agenda of breaking barriers, movement between different regions has never been easier. Interdependencies between states have also grown. Enrolling for a masters program in intercultural studies is one of the best solutions to handle the issue at hand; seeking to understand the differences between the various communities in the world and how to work through the various differences for the common good of mankind. The masters program offers the student an opportunity to learn about world relations and the diversification among the world cultures and people. As a student, one gets a chance to learn, interact with people from different regions and cultures and try to understand them. With world peace being an elusive dream, there is no better way to start than to enroll for a masters degree in intercultural studies. Second output is keeping track with the new digital era and with innovative mobile application to provide students with information about exams, time schedule of lectures, master programs available, registration for exams. Coordinative meeting in Tetovo, Macedonia where partners will brainstorm about the new master program, the mobile application, their experience in the filed and how it can be used in the best way. Second coordinative meeting in Bulgaria 4. Creating intellectual output - new master program 5. Third coordinative meeting in Spain 6. Training about usage of IT in higher education in Bulgaria 7. Creating software for the mobile application The application will be regularly supplied with content and used as a dissemination tool. It will be closely integrated with the intensive social network activity to be undertaken. 8. Training about usage of the created application and how to be used by students 9. Multiplying event in Tetovo 10.
