The project is a product of international synergy of high schools from Poland, Italy, France and Turkey. We work in favour of a dialogue, which, though difficult, is possible in spite of linguistic, cultural, social or ethnic barriers. We strive for holistic and cutting-edge approach to foreign language’s studies with an emphasis on communicative and cross-cultural qualifications as well as civic competence. While teaching the language we bring students up in a spirit of virtues such as openness, mutual respect and kindness for other human beings, proactive solidarity and social responsibility. The crucial point here is to found teachers’ status by equipping them with innovative and adequate tools in a context of multilingualism and cultural diversity of Europe. We want to better deal with phenomenon of misapprehension and intolerance in school environment. We also strive for greater prestige and effectiveness of foreign languages’ classes. Forum Theatre, which derives from Theatre of the Oppressed, is the axis of our project - enriched by multimedia as well as spectacular activities in public space. Among the most substantial results of our project multimedia digital Forum Theatre’s course books for schools and systemic inclusion of Forum Theatre’s techniques to the curriculum have to be mentioned. Transnational dimension of classes through web-forum - e-twinning - is especially important to us.
