Migrants or refugees may represent an important workforce for the hosting EU countries and they could help their economies especially if it could possible to train them to become new entrepreneurs. In an overall ranking by the Migration Policy Group measuring immigrant integration policies in 28 countries, Sweden scored more points than any other country. This result is especially interesting given that Swedish integration policies differ considerably from integration policies applied in other EU countries because the Swedish integration programme is characterized by an increasing number of labour-market related integration measures. Also in Sweden and in our district, the continuing arrivals are creating many problems because, also us, there is a limit in offering job opportunities: so the best solution should be to help the migrants/refugees to create new companies.
