Project summary

The project wants to let students in the upper secondary school experience how it will be to live in a climate sustainable future in Europe. The main focus of this project is to learn how our every day life impacts the climate and how to live for a sustainable climate will impact every day life. The two participating organizations will meet up twice and compete in a sport of their choosing. And by doing that they will have to travel, eat, live and do other things that impacts the climate, mainly in the form of carbon missions. The main goal of the project is to do this but reduce our impact on the climate as much as possible because the climate change is one of the main threats against a sustainable future. We will carry out the project as a big experiment where the students first have to investigate how much emission every part of the project produces and then come up with planes to reduce it. But it doesn’t stop there. Then they will have to actually experience their choices in ways of travel, eating, living and working during our meetings. The experiences will then be written down in a scientific report, written by the students, a video posted on YouTube and in a brochure available for everyone interested in our project such as local stakeholders, the educative community and other students.
