Academy of Youth Worker is a project aimed at young people from the unemployment risk group with humanities education who want to involve in young people activities as Youth Workers or within NGO field. The project builds up the partnership of four organisations form different political, economic and cultural background. All partners have long tradition of working with youths: trainings, workshops, seminars, all based on the informal education. The exchange of knowledge and practices within partners will provide to participants with accurate examples and knowledge about specifics of working with youth but also different possible way to engage as Youth Worker. The main results of the project will be to prepare the complete and innovative set of trainings for groups of potential Youth Workers from possible unemployment risk group. Project is divided into two sections: First one consist of the set of trainings about working with youths and will be finished by certification procedures. The second section is a set of training about establishing and running a NGO in the particular country formal context. Scenarios of training are prepared by all partners organisations according to their competences. Answering to the new tendencies of the labor market we want to achieve three principal outcomes: Methodology of tranning Youth Workers, Handbook of Youth Worker and Guidelines with Toolkit for establishing NGO. We’ll include 18-30 years old in project to prepare them for better: • entry into the labor market • develop their entrepreneurship within NGO field • work in institutions, companies, cultural centers, NGOs as Youth Workers • enhance their experience and knowledge about working with youth • gain knowledge about NGO and running NGO • be more socially active Despite the different political and cultural context all partners countries: Poland, Spain, Macedonia and Bulgaria, have similar tendencies within NGOs growing number and youth unemployment risk groups, their experiences will contribute to the exchange of good practices and knowledge
Lack of education in NGO sphere and lack of awareness how the work in non-governmental organizations were the prefects to start the Academy of Youth Worker. Academy of Youth Worker was a project for youth workers, youth leaders who want to increase their ability to work with youth i ngo environment. We engaged youth leaders from organizational surroundings aged mostly 18-30. They increased their ability to establish an youth NGO and hel youth to develop it.Thanks to participation in the project they:• developed their entrepreneurship within NGO field• received experience and knowledge about working with youth• gained knowledge about NGO and running NGO• are more socially active elaborated 2 outputs - a comprehensive program of youth workers training with 13 scenarios including sof skills working with youth and practical ones about establishing youth organization; and a handbook - how to establish an NGO in each of partners' countries.
