Creative industries provide young people with unique opportunities for taking the fast route to entrepreneurship by turning their creativity and ideas into added value products and experiences. However, they find it challenging to make the transition from idea or prototype to sustainable entrepreneurship that creates employment for themselves and other young people by lack of know-how, industry contacts and resources. Over 200 000 young people will discover the potential of entrepreneurship in creative industries to educational materials and an active online, social media campaign in all 4 countries. At least 50 of them will choose to take their chances as entrepreneurs through an intensive learning program focused on getting their first customers with support from mentors and facilitators guiding them to launch up to 15 crowdfunding campaigns and scan the international potential of their products through a unique summer bootcamp. The project will continue to support creative industries entrepreneurs with a complete package of learning materials, inspirational and practical case studies and full handbooks available both for aspiring creatives, as well as those who work to speed their success.
