Our project is connected to the European objectives developed in the strategic framework of European cooperation in education and training (ET2020). Background of this project depends on the need to adapt ourselves to technological advances in terms of education. The six partner schools have identified their common problems. The need analysis reveals that we all are confronting with new ICT technology, the lack of students’ learning motivation, with the unattractiveness of the learning process for many of our students and most of us teach students with disabilities in learning and health Our project aim is to help students and moreover the disadvantaged students to overcome barriers of different kind. The specific objectives of the INTERNET project are: to increase learning motivation for the students; to develop teamwork skills for our students and staff; to address on-going relevant professional development in ICT/ programming skills using transnational expertise and facilities; to compare and contrast school methods in order to show our students and staff that we live in a different country but we have a common aim; to build character, values of fairness and respect and increase self-esteem of our students; to identify, share and build on examples of best practice in raising attainment; to enhance teaching and learning by demonstrating pro-active teaching methods; to develop language and communication skills; to improve skills in the use of the eTwinning platform to facilitate better communication and collaboration for students and teachers alike; to celebrate achievement not only in our schools but also in the wider local community; to further enhance links with partner schools and institutes across Europe. More than 3500 persons will benefit directly and indirectly from the project. The fewer opportunities direct participants are facing with:economic obstacles, disability, educational difficulties, social obstacles, difficulties associated with autistic spectrum conditions, geographical obstacles, health problems. In order to achieve our objectives, we will carry out the a series of activities for example: Media Scouts, Hour of Code, Safer Internet Day, preparing an avatar, playing robots, a themed lexicon including high frequency and ICT words in all partner languages,a European Language Portfolio, Europass and Youthpass, language learning tools and one final collection of internet tools which will be made public to students, teachers, parents and wider school communities. Methodologies we intend to use are identifying specific and measurable goals, establishing a realistic time frame, preparing for potential obstacles, clear planning, regular evaluation and formal/informal assessments. In the long term, activities will be integrated into the school curriculum to ensure all students/learners benefit. Developing language skills in English as well as in digital competence will allow students and staff to explore things from a range of different viewpoints. The designed activities will provide results and outcomes such as: an interactive project web space, preparation and analysis by students of data collated from special events,an exhibition corner in each school, games in Scratch and Studio Code coding programs and ICT tools,-”Safer Internet Day” yearly ”Open Day” after each LTT at schools for students, teachers, parents and wider school communities,a themed lexicon including high frequency and ICT words in all partner languages,a European Language Portfolio, Europass and Youthpass, student’s traveller's journal (a set of pictures, comments and notes after each LTT).

Within the project twere organized and carried out 6 LTT, 4 physical and 2 virtual (due to the Covid-19 pandemic): C1(physical): Germany, topic “Media Peers-Cyber Bullying”, 34 external participants, 350 local participants. C2(physical): Greece, topic “Young ICT experts learn how to use INTERNET safely”, 36 external participants, 33 local participants. C3(physical): Poland, topic “Playing Robots”, 39 external participants, 42 local participants. C4(physical): Turkey, topic “Making Robots and Coding”, 30 external participants, 25 local participants. C7(virtual): Spain, topic “Be brave, e-safe!”, 44 external participants, 150 local participants. C8(virtual): Romania, topic “The use of programmable Lego Mindstorms kits”, 38 external participants, 150 local participants. The COVID-19 crisis shed light on the importance of digital education and our project. Our virtual mobilities and tasks pushed the limits of technology and collaboration that had not been seen before: use of videoconferencing for virtual mobilities was fully adopted that required a new set of skills: forum discussions, presentations, live interactions, created didactic materials for online using. By adapting to the given conditions, due to the teamwork and involvement of the partners we could realize the planned results and outcomes. The achieved results were: -The improved key competences of the students. Use of ICT tools learned during activities -The increased learning motivation for the students -The developed teamwork skills of students and staff. -The developed language and communication skills for students and teachers. -The improved teaching and learning by demonstrating pro-active teaching methods. During LTTs each partner brought new teaching methods involving ICT technologies. -The developed professional competences in ICT/ programming skills using. -The increased self-esteem of disadvantaged students by achieving better academic results. -project website: http://cyber-scouts.eu -Erasmus Plus exhibition corner in each school -games in Scratch and Studio Code coding programs and ICT tools -”Safer Internet Day” presentation yearly -”Open Day” presentations after each LTT -themed lexicon including ICT words in all partner languages -learning scenarios, new practices, worksheets, materials for teachers, -student’s traveller's journal (a set of pictures, comments and notes after each LTT) -student’s work: ebooks, posters, comics, presentations, short movies, audio sequences etc. using ICT tools -logo of the project -calendar with the events, meetings and responsibilities -Europass mobility certificates -Hour of Code certificates -project on eTwinning platform: https://twinspace.etwinning.net/74031/home All results are available to the general public: project website, eTwinnig, Google drive
