Background of the project In both schools students have expressed the desire to cooperate more closely. With this in mind, it was decided that the students would make videos with the partner school. The videos incorporate common European values and regional idiosyncrasies e.g. regarding the school system. Teachers in both schools support the idea of the project in order to intensify the partnership and to encourage even more students to discover more about our common culture and international cooperation. Number and profile of participants Students from S2 and S3 will work together in mixed groups. All students attend classes in their partners' language as part of their curriculum. Motivated participants will be selected to insure a focused execution of the project and a pleasant working atmosphere (group dynamics). Description of activities First the project partners develop the basic content on the eTwinning platform and introduce themselves to each other. Next the participating institutions compare their interests and develop the script together. The participants visit each other annually and bi-national teams shoot the video(s). In the end the results are presented and evaluated. The progress of the project will be documented both in a video and accompanying written information. Methodology The projects will be offered to the students immediately after having been approved and participants will be chosen. With the teachers' support, the students will create the content for the scripts, cooperating with their foreign counterparts. The students will primarily communicate using digital technology. Small bi-national teams will work on different parts of the scripts and shoot the films during their stays at the partner school. The students will present the results at a public event. Expected results There will be a video on each of the participating schools and a video documenting the project. All videos and material on the project will not only be available to the public on the europafels homepage (www.europafels.eu), but also presented by the schools and shared in the europafels network. Students can acquire relevant inter-cultural competences through interaction with their counterparts and by discovering regional differences. Acquired know-how about working on the project will be disseminated through the documentary video and the accompanying written information. Potential long-term benefit(s) Both schools strive to maintain a long-lasting partnership. The presentations will be available to other partner schools of the participating institutions and the general public in the area. Furthermore, it will be available on the online result-platform. The results will be disseminated all over Europe via the homepage and network of europafels. By offering a template to other schools, they encourage active school partnerships and motivate schools to create international contacts. The students are encouraged to actively discover common values which arise from their shared European cultural heritage. This guiding principle pursues the emotive goal to increase and strengthen the students' European awareness. The dissemination beyond the partnership of the two schools will motivate other schools to intensify and emphasise their European partnerships.

Teachers in both schools supported the idea of the project in order to intensify the partnership and to encourage even more students to discover more about our common culture and international cooperation. Students from S2 and S3 (later S3/S4) worked together in mixed groups. All students attend classes in their partners' language as part of their curriculum. Motivated participants were selected to insure a focused execution of the project and a pleasant working atmosphere (group dynamics). First the project partners developed the basic content via email, social media and in video conferences. Next the participating institutions compared their interests and developed the script together. The participants visited each other and bi-national teams shot the videos. In the end the results should have been presented and evaluated (which didn't happen because of the covid-19 pandemic). The progress of the project was documented. The projects was offered to the students immediately after having been approved and participants were chosen. With the teachers' support, the students created the content for the scripts, cooperating with their foreign counterparts. The students communicated primarily using digital technology. Small bi-national teams worked on different parts of the scripts and shot the films during their stays at the partner school. Short videos on each of the participating schools have been produced. As a consequence of data protection precautions in both schools the videos have only been published to a limited degree. Furthermore, some videos have not been finished because of the implications of the covid-19-pandemic. This is planned for spring 2021, when the implications of the covid-19-pandemic will hopefully have eased up. Students acquired diverse inter-cultural competences through interaction with their counterparts and by discovering regional differences. Both schools strive to maintain a long-lasting partnership. The presentations are (will be) available to other partner schools of the participating institutions and the general public in the area (again according to data protection regulations). Furthermore, it is available on the online result-platform. The results are (will be) available via the homepages of both schools.
