EN The submitted project is cross-sectoral and involve partners from different fields, such as : associations, cultural and popular educators, secondary and higher education establishments, training centres for adults' education and apprentices, grouped housing dwellers, professionals and inhabitants, engineering students future members of the intellectual elite of their countries, but also students in school failure, disabled persons, etc. This project’s priorities are social inclusion, and school education by strengthening the teaching profession and promote the acquisition of skills. Its ambition “invite to travel, encourage to dream, inspire to act” put the exploration and question of the young people as director line of the project, in order to answer to the increasing housing difficulty, but also to awake their desire to be actors in their accommodation, namely ' cooper' actives '. Cooperatif housing pass to be un third way for choose his inhabitation, between individual or collectif way, between location or propriety. Its main purpose is 1/ for school audience the discovery, learning and practice of co-production, particularly that of housing, and cooperative housing, and their values, as friendliness, social links, participation, solidarity, hospitality of the other and sharing when it comes to participatory habitat values at the center of today's educational issues. 2/for the public of their trainers, which new contents for apprenticeships? . what messages get and what learning develop in school to prepare young Europeans to be tomorrow cooper residents and actors players in their living environment? Three European schools (French and Polish) and a Dutch University decided to join their specific skills and their educational, multidisciplinary and technical know- how, crossing them with those of cultural associations, popular education, and professionals of cooperative housing. The partnership will begin on a trip at Tübingen, in Germany, mecca and birthplace of participative habitat, when the teaching team, coordinated by the experienced members of MALTAE association, (which will broadcast on this occasion its methods of integrated projects, different perspectives and teamwork) will engage the co-production of the ten intellectual activities dedicated to the project: meetings, study trips and workshops shedule. The first months of the project will be dedicated to the students awareness by their teaching staff on the issues of habitat and “inhabit” and to discover the good practices and the values of the participative habitat, the team work and its result, around the ‘living together” and “doing it together”. A multidisciplinary and multicultural approach will stimulate and oversee a first awareness of the students to the quality of their way of habitation and that of their European counterparts. They will learn to communicate and share their opinions through new technologies of research, production and exchange of information. In the first half of the year, a first meeting will take place in Belgium with all the high school students, for a three day tour of both in progress and completed projects. It will be a mean to meet local residents (and young residents), led by the association “Habitat et Participation”, with its 35 years’ experience in houses groups support. An other important moment is in Neederland, in November 2019 : The meetings between high schools will take place at the pace of the academic calendar of the architecture or urban planning master students, who will be in charge for the study trip and co- production workshops set up. They will use their new professional skill to lead their young 'clients' to consider, formulate and co-develop an improvement – real or dreamt - of their home or neighbourhood. The training center in Hyères will expand the housing issue to the problems of the rural world, to these old and new inhabitants and the issue of shared gardens. A logbook, supervision work type, will restore the highlights and significant trends of the project, such as housing awareness workshops, action researches and investigations, photos, films, plans, models productions, and also a website, an exhibition and a comic design, and finally the restitution and co- creativity workshops inspired by visits during the study trips; all of which will be raw material, revisited and dignified, for a toolbox, intended to acquire and disseminate a basic culture on the habitat for very diverse audiences, from primary school to University, which is essential to the future well functioning of a citizen co-production of the habitat and the quality of its living. In a second stage, the project aims to promote for all social layers, in all partner countries, and beyond, the good practices of participative habitat.
Despite the vagaries of the project, the objectives were achieved, thanks to the extension of the six months granted to the project. This project was able, by combining more than fifty structures, to create the conditions for its sustainability. The three priorities (teaching trades/ skills and skills acquisition/social inclusion) were executed, with training programmes in new construction professions in the transition economy. The slogan "Invite to travel, inspire to dream, inspire to act" sums up these objectives. In order to make young people actors in their housing and for them to see in participatory housing an alternative: 1/for the various learners, it was achieved with the discovery and practice of co-production, the co-production of participatory housing, and its values of conviviality, social connection, participation, solidarity, welcoming the other and sharing. 2/ for trainers formal and informal messages and learning have been designed. Three French and Polish institutions and a Dutch university have succeeded in combining their specific skills and their educational, technical and transdisciplinary know-how, by combining them with the expertise of cultural associations and popular education on the subject of Parcipative Habitat. The MALTAE association has put its experience of integrated projects at the service of co-production combining mobility and learning activities, dissemination events and 6 intellectual productions. The additional 6 months associated with the Covid 19 have given even more space to intellectual production. Three transnational face-to-face meetings were held. From March 2020, the coordination took place via videoconference. The project began with a trip to Tubingen, (TM 1) in Germany, the high place and "cradle" of participatory housing. The ICFA (Franco-German Cultural Institute) welcomed us. Then the relay provided by the Werkstadthaus played its full role in order to retain the pioneering experience of Tubingen. The one prepared in Poland, cancelled, in March 2020 was valued in the IO7 production "Flying to Europe and its 114 ways of living". Travel:March 2019: 5 mobility (C1 to C5) - all partners present for three days of visits to 14 habitats grouped in Belgium. Piloted by the association "Habitat and Participation"/ June 2019: Mobility C6 of Polish high schools in Hyères with the realization of a pedagogy route (Learning Territory)/ November 2019 (C7 and C8): the students of the TUe put in practice their new "professional" competence in the service of their young "customers", to co-design with them in a role-playing game their Group Habitat/May 2019: the last cross-mobility and prepared (C9 and C10) have been cancelled. Six intellectual productions have been created: All are acessible in the wesite of the project Habitat-cooperactif.eu A multilingual site, with three functions of news, showcase and archive, that transmits the results, gives access to the productions and will last 4 years after the project A film about a pioneering participatory habitat, innovative in the way it deals with history and evaluation, in open access, with YouTube subtitles and an interactive bilingual critical reading tool A guide to 26 workshops and educational activities which invites reproducibility A "flight for Europe and its 114 ways of living in Europe" with 13 created cultural itineraries A vision of youth housing, through the return of a trilingual survey A material library, a digital resource center, which were created on the subject, with entry by 4000 keys words and intended to be perregated The photographic exhibition (and trilingual) "In'habitat: the territory as a European cultural construction" which crosses all productions. The five dissemination events were able to be maintained despite the pandemic. The innovation of the project was twofold: methodological contributions from the "learner territories" and the concept of a "permanent participatory project". At its core, the central issue was participatory housing. It has been enriched by the following topics: hospitality, mobility, shared garden and the necessary task of cowriting the stories od tomorow, in particular, thanks to the partnerships of the JHADE (Solidarity share Garden), the Oiseaux de passage cooperative and the Bergerade Scoop. "It all starts in the garden" was one of those innovative messages. The MALTAE/CFPPA cooperation has broadened the subject to include rural issues. Finally, it was a question of calling on the HP players to ensure that the solidarity and reception of young people is integrated into the future HP. 200 people took part in the programmes, workshops or mobility; Another 200 at the dissemination events; 500 people responded to the survey on the young person's housing, in workshops or online and finally more than 2000 high school students are indirectly impacted by the participation in the project of their school. The site further multiplies the number of people impacted.
