MOSAIK City is an intercultural project between young Europeans. The theme chosen for this European artistic project is The City. This creative theme allows us to draw on cultural and social fields, by evoking lifestyles, everyday life, the architectural heritage, the relationship to space and the urban, it will lead us to get to know each other better from one country to another. We will be interested in literary, cinematographic, plastic, theatrical or choreographic works from our different countries that deal with this subject and will draw analysis and inspiration from them. This theme will allow us to question our diverse cultural identities, their divergences and their common points, will also allow us to reflect on the city of tomorrow, our fears, our wishes, our dream cities. Perhaps the show as a whole will portray our common European city. This work of artistic creation will be supervised by an international team of 14 teachers in the four partner centres, specialists in the artistic disciplines making up the project. They will guide the students on the various possibilities of explorations around the theme of the City, will impel research tracks in the various artistic fields. During the first seven months of the project, research and creation workshops will be organized in each country to create the stages that will compose the common show. The main objectives of the project are: -To value the importance of the different artistic disciplines as the language and means of cultural expression of countries and individuals. -To Share ways of living and exchanging artistic experience through collaboration with colleagues from other countries to strengthen European integration, promote European values and foster the study and dissemination of our cultural heritage -To knowledge different arts education and training systems During the month of May 2019, the four groups will meet in the city of Clamart in France for one week.
