Teachers and students alike from two European highschools in France and Spain (both vocational schools) have taken part in a project called « Let's Learn Together » for a year. These students and teachers are involved in the same training programme level (EQF4) in the same professional field (HVAC). The project aimed at developping professional and linguistic skills as well as the mobility of the people involved in the project. The teachers and the students who were directly implicated in the project cooperated on a regular basis to joinly define the activities. Exchanges through video conferences, telephone calls mails and mobilities were exclusively held in English throughout the 2018-2019 school year. This allowed all the people involved to improve ease and spontaneity of oral expression. Common achievements through co learning and co teaching have led to professional skill improvement for students and teachers alike. The mobilities provided the opportunity to visit local and regional sites. For the majority of the students who took part in the mobility it was their very first time abroad, thus they discovered a foreign country, new means of transport (train, plane, underground), another culture and exchanges with European counterparts. This project represents a significant step of French Highschool Mézeray- Gabriel opening up on an international scale. A specific place dedicated to international and European actions has been created at Gabriel Highschool, this room will be inaugurated during the 2019 Erasmusdays. It will be a place for sharing, exchanging information and implementing new international and european projects. The students will be given their European CV for the official ceremony on the inauguration day.
