Preserving tradition is an inland and internatnational demand. The accounting of our mutual past, the preservance of the national culture. We are searching for ways on how to improve our cultural skills, how to select from the rich variety of national traditions. This motivated to set our goals, to start to build from scratch. Children in the kindergarden age should be introduced to the custom preserving activities of our homeland. We discover new pedagogical approaches, good practices. We can learn and experiment with new methods used in nursery education, the co-operation and communication of smaller groups. In the strategic methodology we discover the project method. The kindergarden-school transition facilitating measures. During the partner meetings there is a chane of approach, the teachers are open for new methods. We build on the possibility for diverse range of activities, emotional, aesthetic experiences, on the chances to introduce our culture and to show the wide variety of community feelings. To strengthen the sense of belonging to the community. We consider it important to introduce our children to the Hungarian folk life, customs, festivals, our narrower and broader environment's traditions, which is a moral duty for us. We regard our job as a continous activity. We base on the susceptible period of kindergarden, particular activity, because the experience gained via action and emotion rich experiences affect our children, it causes joy, happiness, improves their self image. The Partnership consist of two Hungarian and one Romanian kindergarden. They joined enthusiastically because they saw the opportunity in cooperation, which ensures the long term development for their teachers and institution. On the other hand we can use professional material with our project product in our project work which we can incorporate to our everyday kindergarden life and can use in practice. Our shared principle with the partner institutions: we consider the kindergardens activity a success if we create the institute's tradition, innovation and professional fulfillment. We created our project in Hungarian. We planned 6 partner meetings througout the spam of 12 months. This is required to obtain personal experience, to get to know and to transfer good practices, to elaborate our project products. In order to create the plans, drafts, common strategies and collections cooperation is required. We consider the cooperative work important so that everyone can feel that they are equally helping to achieve implementation. It is important for us to learn from each other and exchange good practices while incorporating those into our practices, our institutional work. During the project further training is implemented for the leaders and kindergarden teachers of the instituions that take part in the partnership.
„Eszterlánc” tradition preservation activities in kindergarten education through the implementation of our application gave us the opportunity to renew our tradition of traditional care. The kindergartens participating in the project - Hajdúsámson, Csíkszentdomokos, Ludas - jointly prioritized the inclusion of diverse areas of folk culture in our pedagogical work. We chose from a rich tradition, focused on local collections, the socio-cultural situation, took the developmental level of the children into account, and paid great attention to talent development. In addition to the diverse educational and developmental impact of the folklore activities in our pedagogical programs, we have carried out traditional preservation activities in our settlements. We have designed with special care the balance of game-learning and the professional and practical implementation of the organization of the sessions. At the kindergarten we laid the foundations, we loved the folk culture, and shaped and formed their Hungarian consciousness. The children gained a wide range of experiences in the complex activities, which were based on the cultural content. Developed abilities: social (co-operative, adaptive), emotional-volitional (open, direct, full-time) mother tongue (comprehension, vocabulary, articulation), intellectual (perception, perception, memory, attention, imagination, thinking) physical maturity, motor abilities (conditioning, coordination). We have made great strides in fine motor and eye-hand-foot coordination, which we have recorded on our skill sheets. They were able to work in teams, get creative, incorporate ideas and solve problem situations. With the implementation of our project we have provided further training in the educational institutions. The ethnographic knowledge of the teachers, their methodological tools, and the versatile use of folk customs in their daily educational work and in their own institutional practice have been expanded. We have implemented innovation, mutual learning, exchange of good practices, and improved our teaching competencies. Folk traditions were conveyed according to the given region in an authentic way, with presentations, video recordings and drafts. During the partner meetings and between the mobilities, we linked our activities in time to the holidays, celebrations, which were recorded in our annual event calendar. We assisted with the realization of our goal, the transfer of our good practices, the incorporation of the project method, the facilitation of the kindergarten and school transition with presentations and methodological recommendations. We prepared our project in Hungarian. During the 12-month term, we conducted 6 partner meetings. We gained personal experience, integrated the acquaintances into our daily practice, and prepared our written documents. We put great emphasis on reflection, dissemination activities, identifying our strengths and areas for improvement, developing them further. All of these will affect our institutions in the long run. We will continue our tradition-building activities with our partners, incorporating new content, further exploring the treasures of the children's folklore of the regions, creating local depositories, editing local history books for kindergarten, which we will share with each other online and in the coming years. We consider the realization of our application to be a lifetime opportunity and a valuable initiative. We have taken the first step to familiarize our children, educators and our wider and wider environment with our tradition-building activities. We strive to enable our partners to witness and enjoy the experience at our traditional events, to join in and participate in them. We showed the way to renew our kindergarten education and to integrate folk customs into the pedagogical work of our institutions.
