Project summary

Context/background of project “Reflective teaching/learning in a modern European digital classroom” project wants to foster young people’s competences and skills through a linguistic, methodological, and educational path that aims at enhancing their learning needs by different activities. Reflective teaching is a personal tool that teachers and students can use to observe and evaluate the way they behave in their classroom. It can be both a private process as well as one that you discuss with others. It is a process where teachers think over their teaching practices, analyzing how the subjects can be taught and how the practice might be improved or changed for better learning outcomes. Reflective thinking helps learners to develop higher-grade thinking skills and competences by prompting learners to relate new knowledge to prior understanding, think in both abstract and conceptual terms, explore the app-world, understand their own thinking and learning strategies, use technology in a proper way, be efficient in problem solving. Due to these reasons, reflection has become a key strategy in teaching/learning process in this project. The objectives: - find out the more interesting typologies of lessons according to teachers' and students' reflections, - promote intercultural dialogue and encourage cooperation through all forms of learning - promote the acquisition of skills and key competences (digital competences, languages) - strengthen the professional and educational profile of teachers.
