EUROPEAN HAIRDRESSERS is a strategic partnership project within which we plan to develop high quality skills and competences of the students becoming hairdressers through international exchange of practices and colaborations with similar institutions in partner countries. In this project we are 6 partners from 6 countries, 5 of us represent VET providers and the 6th partners is a Hairdressing salon, representing an actor on the labour market. The project also includes the partnerships with some organizations on the labour market in the domain of hairdressing.Through project activities and partners cooperation we aim to enlarge the employment opportunities of the graduators of such qualification by giving them the possibility to get in touch with the requirements of the international labour market in the domain and by this the students will develop the international high quality skills and competences required by actors on the international labour market. Through this project a number of partnerships will be developed between VET providers and institutions on the labour market. At the end of the project a special international guide for hairdressers qualification will assure the products of the project can be used for as many VET providers and students as possible. Our main objectives are: 1. To improve the skills and the competences of the Hairdressing qualification course trainees by getting them in touch with European labour market actors in the domain. 2. To improve the Hairdressing qualification course by adding to it new created auxiliaries. 3. To encrease chances of the trainees to get employed by offering them quality training which will make them competetive on the European Labour Market; 4. To develop partnerships on the local, national and international level and working agreements between VET providers and actors on the labour market (Hairdressers’s, in our case). Increasing the chances of our trainees to get a job we will contribute to decreasing unemployement which is the most common problem in all partner countries. The project will address to those who is working in the field of Hairdressing and has no qualiification, people in risk to get unemployed, people looking for a qualification, but also voc.school graduators who want to get a qualification, to become a hairdresser. Also VET providers in the partner countries will benefit from the final outputs of our project. By implementing this project we propose ourselves to create an international addition to all partners national qualification course of Hairdressers in a form of the outputs we are going to creat as all interested VET providers public or private can use them in order to improve their trainees’skills and competences making them competitive on the International Labour market. We plan three intellectual outputs: 1. One Internatioanal evaluation guide for Hairdressers 2. „Want to be an internationally good hairdresser? Get informed!” – a auxiliary describing the requirements of hairdresser’s in the partners’ countries 3. Online Hairdressers’ diary – describing the experiences the participants to the practical stages lived during their international exchanges All three will be first created by all partners in common, in English, uploaded to the website of the project and then translated by each partner in their national language. All three will be printed for the multiplier events in each partner country to be distributed to the invited representatives from other VET providers on national/ regianal/ local level. The innovative component of our project is the extension of the existing national qualification course of Hairdressers in all partner countries to an international level by creating three auxiliary materials to help trainees to prepare themselves to be internationally qualified and appreciated. This project will have the following main activities - 2 Short-term trainings for trainers - 1 Creating the auxiliary „Want to be an internationally good hairdresser? Get informed!” - 2 Multiplier Events - 4 Blended mobilities for learners - 1 Online Hairdressers’ diary - 1 Internatioanal evaluation guide for Hairdressers - 6 Project meetings Communication will be assured on the several levels: management, implementation, disseminationand evaluation. All the outputs created within this project are meant to be created for the wide use withing the hairdressers qualification course provided not only by the institutions involved in the activities of the project but by as many VET providers as possible. All outputs and results developed during that project, the project main results will be accessible for free as they could be accessed on the website of our project. The free access to the intellectual outputs of the project will be widely promoted during the project lifetime and during the dissemination activities held by all the partner organisations. Each partners will havea link to the project website to access results
